摘要: The present disclosure relates to absorbent articles comprising belts comprising one or more pluralities of tightly spaced (less than 4 mm, less than 3 mm, less than 2 mm, and less than 1 mm) and/or low decitex (less than 300, less than 200, less than 100 dtex) and/or low strain (less than 300%, less than 200%, less than 100%) elastics to deliver low pressure less than 1 psi (according to the conditions defined by the Pressure-Under-Strand Test in the Method below) under the elastics, while providing adequate Section-Modulus of (between about 2 gf/mm and 15 gf/mm), resulting in a Product Length-to-Waist Silhouette that is within from about −0.3 to about 0.3 of the Target Body Length-to-Waist Silhouette to make the article conform better to the body of the wearer at a lower Pressure-Under-Strand, even with a loaded core (holding at least 50 mls of liquid), to provide for the advantages described above.

摘要: To provide a composite of thermally-modified polymer layer and inorganic substrate, a composite of polymer member and inorganic substrate, and production methods thereof, the method of the present invention for producing a composite of thermally-modified polymer layer and inorganic substrate 110 or 120 includes forming a first polymer layer on an inorganic substrate 10, and heating and thermally modifying the first polymer layer in order to bond the first thermally-modified polymer layer 20 onto the inorganic substrate. In addition, the method of the present invention for producing a composite of polymer member and inorganic substrate 210 or 220 includes producing a composite of thermally-modified polymer layer and inorganic substrate by the method of the present invention and joining the polymer member to the first thermally-modified polymer layer so that the polymer member 30 is joined to an inorganic substrate via the first thermally-modified polymer layer.

摘要: Disclosed herein are laminates including a textile layer that is elastic and including a meltable material; a barrier layer, and an intermediate layer located between the textile layer and the barrier layer, the intermediate layer including a heat reactive material, wherein the heat reactive material includes a polymer resin-expandable graphite mixture of a polymer resin and an expandable graphite, the expandable graphite having an expansion of at least 900 pm at 280° C., and wherein the laminate is configured to be stretched an amount of at least 10% by a stretching force and to recover at least 80% of the amount stretched when the stretching force is released. The barrier layer may have less than 5% elasticity and may be defined a corrugated structure within the laminate.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to methods for assembling elastomeric laminates, wherein elastic material may be stretched and joined with either or both first and second substrates. First spools are rotated to unwind first elastic strands from a first unwinder in a machine direction. The first elastic strands are positioned between the first substrate and the second substrate to form an elastomeric laminate. Before the first elastic strands are completely unwound from the rotating first spools, second spools are rotated to unwind second elastic strands from a second unwinder. Subsequently, the advancement of the first elastic strands from the first unwinder is discontinued. Thus, the elastomeric laminate assembly process may continue uninterrupted while switching from an initially utilized elastic material drawn from the first spools to a subsequently utilized elastic material drawn from the second spools.

摘要: The present disclosure includes various methods of wrapping an item, such as harvested agricultural material, including steps such as unrolling a wrapping material portion from a roll of wrapping material portions, the unrolling starting at a leading end of the wrapping material portion and continuing along a length of the portion towards a trailing end of the portion, each wrapping material portion including a base film, a first adhesive substrate including a bottom adhesive surface attached to a first side of the base film of the wrapping material portion adjacent to the perforation, an outwardly facing first adhesive surface covered by a first release liner with a second adhesive surface facing outwardly and attached to a second side of the base film of the wrapping material portion when on the roll, and further unrolling the wrapping material portion from the roll of wrapping material portions such that the first release liner separates from the first adhesive surface, the first release liner remaining attached to the second side of the base film of the wrapping material portion and the first adhesive surface remaining attached to the first side of the base film of the wrapping material portion. Wrapping material portions may be connected to one another by perforations.

摘要: A thermoplastic pipe and a method for producing a thermoplastic pipe are provided. The thermoplastic pipe includes a liner layer, a semi-consolidated core layer comprising a prepreg polymeric fabric layer, and a shrink wrap outer layer. The semi-consolidated core layer comprises a thermoplastic polymer matrix that is randomly distributed across the fabric. The method includes producing a hollow inner liner layer, winding a prepreg comprising a polymeric powder scattered on a fabric over the hollow inner liner layer to produce a core layer, covering the core layer in a heat shrinkable wrap, and heating to produce a semi-consolidated core layer. The semi-consolidated core layer comprises a thermoplastic polymer matrix that is randomly distributed across the fabric.
