摘要: Provided is a slurry composition for a non-aqueous secondary battery functional layer that is capable of forming a functional layer that can inhibit heat generation in the event of an internal short circuit of a non-aqueous secondary battery and can also reduce internal resistance of the non-aqueous secondary battery. The slurry composition contains functional particles, an insoluble polymer, a soluble polymer, and a solvent. The functional particles include foaming agent particles. The content of the insoluble polymer is not less than 1 part by mass and not more than 10 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the functional particles, and the content of the soluble polymer is not less than 1 part by mass and not more than 10 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the functional particles. The soluble polymer has a thermal decomposition temperature of 130° C. or higher.

摘要: The present invention provides pourable aqueous dispersion compositions of (a) one or more cellulose ethers and (b) one or more superplasticizers stably suspended in an aqueous dispersion of (c) one or more stabilizers in the form of a colloidal dispersion, further containing (d) one or more monovalent salts, such as an alkali metal salt. The minimum total amount of the cellulose ether, as solids in the pourable aqueous dispersion is 8 wt. % or, preferably, 12 wt. % or, preferably, 14 wt. % and the solids weight ratio of total cellulose ether to salt is close to 1:1, ranging, for example, from 0.7:1 to 1.4:1. Further, the amounts of the (a) one or more cellulose ethers and the (b) one or more superplasticizers enable the provision of pourable aqueous dispersion compositions effective for use in cement applications by simple dilution with water.

摘要: A cosmetic ink composition comprises a particulate material, a polymeric dispersant, a rheology modifier, and a surface tension modifier, wherein the surface tension modifier is selected from the group consisting of C1-C16 alcohols, C5-C18 diols, and mixtures thereof. The particulate material can have a Particle Size Distribution D50 of about 100 nm to about 2,000 nm. The rheology modifier can be selected from the group consisting of alkali swellable emulsion polymers, hydrophobically modified alkali swellable emulsion polymers, and combinations thereof. The cosmetic ink composition can have a surface tension of from about 20 to about 45 mN/m.

摘要: The present invention relates to methods for processing plant and/or micro-organism derived cellulose materials into rheology/structuring agents. More in particular, the present invention relates to methods wherein plant and/or micro-organism derived cellulose material is co-processed with carboxycellulose. The methods of the present invention provide a variety of benefits, in terms of process efficiency and scalability as well as in relation to the properties of the materials that are obtainable using these methods. For instance, it has been found that (highly) concentrated products produced using the method of the invention are easily (re)dispersible in water and aqueous systems to regain much of the cellulose component's original rheological performance.
