摘要: An electronic component has an organic member between two transparent substrates, in which outer peripheral portions of the two transparent substrates are bonded by a sealing material containing low melting glass. The low melting glass contains vanadium oxide, tellurium oxide, iron oxide and phosphoric acid, and satisfies the following relations (1) and (2) in terms of oxides. The sealing material is formed of a sealing material paste which contains the low melting glass, a resin binder and a solvent, the low melting glass containing vanadium oxide, tellurium oxide, iron oxide and phosphoric acid, and satisfies the following relations (1) and (2) in terms of the oxides. Thereby, thermal damages to an organic element or an organic material contained in the electronic component can be reduced and an electronic component having a glass bonding layer of high reliability can be produced efficiently. 摘要: A solvent composition and system is disclosed having a composition including n-propyl bromide and a propionate containing liquid and/or a butyrate containing liquid. The solvent system may include approximately 35 to 92.5 weight percent propionate containing liquid and approximately 7.5 to 65 weight percent n-propyl bromide. Alternatively, the solvent system may include approximately 40 to 85 weight percent butyrate containing liquid and 15 to 60 weight percent, n-propyl bromide. The solvent system may incorporate a polymer, such as a synthetic rubber polymer. Further the solvent system preferably has high solvency while maintaining desirable evaporation rates and is preferably nonflammable, combustible, or minimally a class IC flammable liquid.

摘要: An optical adhesive product and a process for manufacturing an optical adhesive product, laminated film ensembles, and laminated lenses. The optical adhesive product includes a glyoxal water solution that is pH adjusted for use as an optical adhesive that demonstrates a wet peel three strength above about 6 Newtons. A water based polymer, such as PVOH, may be added to the adhesive system. According to the process, the glyoxal adhesive system is manufactured and utilized to laminate TAC-PVA-TAC films together to form a polar film ensemble. The polar film ensemble is laminated to an optical substrate and in the case of an ophthalmic lens, surfaced, coated and edged. 摘要: Silated polysaccharides having 0.005 to 2.0 silyl molar substitution per anhydrosaccharide unit form water resistant films when cast from aqueous solution and dried in the presence of atmospheric cabron dioxide. These films are soluble in aqueous caustic. A preferred water soluble polymer is a cellulose ether with 0.005 to 1.0 silyl substitution.

摘要: A high viscosity primer and a process for preparing a polymer surface for solvent cement bonding are disclosed. The high viscosity primer has at least one solvent capable of at least partially dissolving or softening the surface and comprising a thickener ethylcellulose, PVC resin, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) resin, acrylic resin, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), pentaerythritol ethoxylate, or a combination thereof and present at a concentration in a range of from about 0.5 wt % to about 10 wt %, relative to the total weight of the primer. The high viscosity primer has a viscosity in a range of from about 10 to about 100 centipoise.
