摘要: A sample-handling-module (10) and an apparatus (1) for calibrating a multi-channel liquid handling device are disclosed. The sample-handling-module cooperates with a weighing balance (11) with a load receiver (16). The sample-handling module has a holding device (20) with holders (22), arranged sequentially and equally spaced apart, configured to receive receptacles (26). A supporting device (30) has an array of tines (32) to laterally support the holders when the holders dismount from the load receiver. An actuating device (44) is operatively connected to the holders through the array of tines. The actuating device mounts the holders onto the load receiver, one at a time, by disengaging the corresponding tines. A system and a method of operating the actuating device are also disclosed. The sample-handling-module of the present invention is modular and compact thus making it easier to manufacture, operate, repair, and service.

摘要: The present invention discloses a gas cylinder weighing type hob, wherein one side of a support carrier is hinged for rotation, and the other side acts on a weight sensor to perform single-side weight detection, the use of only one single weight sensor results in a simpler structure, and a large amount of detection data from the weight sensor may be subject to data fitting to obtain a corresponding equation as a conversion equation of a residual amount of gas in a gas cylinder to detect the residual amount of gas.

摘要: An automated computer-controlled sampling system and related methods for collecting, processing, and analyzing agricultural samples for various chemical properties such as plant available nutrients. The sampling system allows multiple samples to be processed and analyzed for different analytes or chemical properties in a simultaneous concurrent or semi-concurrent manner. Advantageously, the system can process soil samples in the “as collected” condition without drying or grinding. The system generally includes a sample preparation sub-system which receives soil samples collected by a probe collection sub-system and produces a slurry (i.e. mixture of soil, vegetation, and/or manure and water), and a chemical analysis sub-system which processes the prepared slurry samples for quantifying multiple analytes and/or chemical properties of the sample. The sample preparation and chemical analysis sub-systems can be used to analyze soil, vegetation, and/or manure samples.

摘要: A method of accurately and precisely measuring the volatile solvent content of tooth whitening compounds incorporates taking a representative sample of the compound at a given stage of manufacture and measuring its weight before and after a heating process to eliminate substantially all the volatile solvents contained within the sample. By comparing initial and finished weights, the percentage of volatile solvents may be obtained. The process may then be repeated throughout the manufacturing process until any desired solvent concentration is reached.

The control unit configured to detect a low weight reading from a weight sensor of the plurality of weight sensors of the beverage dispenser monitoring unit via the second network adapter, determine a syrup container of the plurality of syrup containers associated with the weight sensor, and provide a notification of low syrup level indicating the syrup container to at least one of the plurality of user interface devices.

摘要: Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to apparatus and methods for automatic fluid flow system connectors. The system generally includes a load cell interface coupled to a console and a ring connector coupled to a fluid collection system. The ring connector can be releasably engaged with the load cell using an engagement structure such as a latch, locking arm, or spring clip mechanism. The ring connector and load cell can include electrical contacts configured to engage along an axis that extends perpendicular to a surface that the electrical contacts are disposed on. Advantageously, reduced wear on the electrical contacts should extend the usable life of the system.

摘要: A fluid container measurement system is configured to suspend a load measurement assembly a distance above a support surface. The load measurement assembly houses a load cell and a measurement control circuit. The measurement control circuit is coupled to the load cell and configured to receive electrical signals indicative of a force imposed on the load cell. Electrical signals generated by the load cell indicative of the force exerted on the load cell can be used to measure the fluid container attached to the load cell linkage member. Methods of measuring a fluid container include attaching a fluid container to a fluid container attachment region and displaying the load measurement on a display adjustably attached to an upper surface of the housing of the load measurement assembly.

摘要: A container filling valve may include a shuttle and a drive sleeve that are magnetically coupled. Movement of the drive sleeve may move the shuttle from a position in which the filling valve is closed to a position in which the filling valve is open. A container handling arm may include a distal end configured to hold a container and a proximal end that includes a load cell. A low flow setpoint system may be configured to arrest closing of a filling valve when that filling valve is partially closed. A pressure control system may be configured to maintain a desired pressure in a reservoir or in a flow path from that reservoir. A product recirculation system may be configured to adjust flow rate in the product recirculation system.
