摘要: A novel container designed to enhance the utility and functionality of wheelchairs by providing a discrete, sanitary, and easily accessible storage solution for urinary catheter drainage bags. This innovative container can mitigate common issues associated with traditional catheter bag placement, such as infections, privacy concerns, and the risk of traumatic catheter removals. The container can be attached to various wheelchair models allows for the independence and dignity of users by providing simplified, private access to the catheter bag without requiring assistance. Additionally, the design ensures the catheter bag remains at an optimal position to prevent backflow and reduce the risk of catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs).

摘要: A fluid container measurement system is disclosed. The fluid container measurement system is configured to suspend a load measurement assembly a distance above a support surface. The load measurement assembly houses a load cell and a measurement control circuit. The measurement control circuit is coupled to the load cell and configured to receive electrical signals indicative of a force imposed on the load cell. Electrical signals generated by the load cell indicative of the force exerted on the load cell can be used to measure the fluid container attached to the load cell linkage member.

摘要: Fluid containers having a volume marking(s) and conductive element(s) disposed at the volume marking(s) and a common conductive element are provided. For example, the fluid container has a wall forming the volume. The conductive element(s) and the common conductive element have a portion disposed within the volume and a portion external to the volume. The container further has a RFID tag, where the conductive element(s) and the common conductive element are connected thereto via respective conductive wires. A fluid detection system having the fluid containers is also provided. The system comprises one or more containers and a patient site monitor having a RF reader that interrogates the RFID tag at a preset interval. Responsive to the signal, the tag supplies a predetermined current to the conductive element and the common conductive element and detects a voltage and generates an alert based on the same.

摘要: The following are provided: a water-absorbent resin in which, in the formation of an absorbent material forming an absorbent article, dispersion is satisfactory even in a moisture absorption state, which prevents the occurrence of troubles at the time of manufacturing of the absorbent article and which allows efficient manufacturing; and an absorbent article using an absorbent material containing the water-absorbent resin. The water-absorbent resin according to the present invention is obtained by polymerizing a water-soluble ethylenically unsaturated monomer and performing post-crosslinking thereon with a post-crosslinking agent, and the water-absorbent resin satisfies the requirements below: (A) yellow index is 5.0 or less; and (B) gel strength is 1800 Pa or less.
