    摘要: Synthetic resin bottle (1) including tube-shaped body section (3) comprises eight decompression absorbing panels (8) disposed at equal intervals in body section (3) and pillar sections (9) respectively disposed between said decompression absorbing panels (8) and formed by arcuate wall surfaces (9a). Arcuate wall surfaces (9a) of pillar sections (9) in a cross section of body section (3) configure parts of one imaginary perfect circle (10). A total of circumferential lengths of arcuate wall surfaces (9a) of pillar sections (9) is 20 to 50% of a total circumferential length of perfect circle (10). Consequently, it is possible to realize the synthetic resin bottle having decompression absorbing performance in order to absorb a decrease in internal pressure, the exterior of the body section of the synthetic resin bottle being seen as a cylindrical shape whose shape is almost the same as that of a perfect circle.

    摘要: A multi-layer beverage container made is disclosed. An outer layer encloses an inner layer that is configured to shrink or flex to accommodate volume changes of a beverage inside the beverage container caused by a change in temperature of the beverage in the sealed beverage container. The inner layer is not attached to the outer layer through the majority of the beverage container, with attachment zones being located at selected areas of the outer layer. There is a space between the inner layer and the outer layer. A gas introduction system is provided in the space to maintain a desired gas pressure in the space. The set gas pressure allows outer layer to be designed without the need to resist deformation caused by reduced pressure due to changing volumes of the beverage.

    摘要: A lid for an insulated container comprises a flexible gasket configured to facilitate a seal between the lid and an inner wall of the insulated container, and further configured to expand into an interior compartment of the insulated container responsive to a vacuum developing in the interior compartment. A diaphragm chamber is situated opposite the flexible gasket from the interior compartment when the lid is fully engaged with the insulated container. One or more air channels couple the diaphragm chamber to an exterior of the lid. The development of a vacuum in the interior compartment of the insulated container draws a force on the flexible gasket, thereby reducing pressure in the diaphragm chamber. The negative pressure in diaphragm chamber is back-filled with external air, which enters the lid via the air channels. The lid may then be removed without excessive vacuum forces.
