摘要: A fluid reservoir (101) includes a number of electrode pairs disposed within the fluid reservoir. Each of the electrode pairs includes a number of sensing electrodes (103), and a number of electrical traces (105) wherein the sensing electrodes are coupled to a respective one of the electrical traces. The fluid reservoir also includes a common electrode (104) electrically coupled to a voltage source (106). A number of properties of a fluid (110) within the fluid reservoir are detected by applying a voltage between the sensing electrodes in an electrode pair, and a level of the fluid within the fluid reservoir is detected by applying a voltage between the electrodes and the common electrode. A multiplexer (102) may be used to selectively couple the sensing electrodes (103) to a processing device (108). The fluid reservoir may be a printing fluid container.

摘要: Sensors, systems, and methods for measuring fluid perturbation are provided. One system includes a sensor module, a data management system, and a control system. In operation, data representing fluid is generated and recorded on the sensor module. During generating and recording, the sensor module is preferably partially submerged in a conductive fluid. The sensor module transmits the data representing fluid to the data management system in response to receiving data representing a record request from the data management system. Next, the data management system operates on the received data representing fluid to convert the data representing fluid into data representing fluid perturbation. Then the data management system stores the data representing fluid perturbation and transmits the data representing fluid perturbation to the control system. The control system stores the data representing fluid perturbation and displays the data representing fluid perturbation.

摘要: A separator for separating F.O.G. from an effluent that contains F.O.G. includes a tank, an inlet to the tank for receiving effluent that contains F.O.G., and an outlet to allow grey water to leave the tank. The tank has a size to enable stratification of a layer of F.O.G. present in the tank on water in the tank, and first and second thermocouples are positioned at differing levels in the tank. Conductors couple the thermocouples to sensors, and differing voltages in the thermocouples can be sensed to determine if the thermocouples are surrounded by F.O.G. or water.
