摘要: An automated computer-controlled sampling system and related methods for collecting, processing, and analyzing agricultural samples for various chemical properties such as plant available nutrients. The sampling system allows multiple samples to be processed and analyzed for different analytes or chemical properties in a simultaneous concurrent or semi-concurrent manner. Advantageously, the system can process soil samples in the “as collected” condition without drying or grinding. The system generally includes a sample preparation sub-system which receives soil samples collected by a probe collection sub-system and produces a slurry (i.e. mixture of soil, vegetation, and/or manure and water), and a chemical analysis sub-system which processes the prepared slurry samples for quantifying multiple analytes and/or chemical properties of the sample. The sample preparation and chemical analysis sub-systems can be used to analyze soil, vegetation, and/or manure samples.

摘要: A method of forming a composite material includes mixing granules of thermoplastic(s) and granules of reinforcing material(s) using a mixer with an interior friction coating. The friction generated by interaction between the granules and friction coating causes granules of at least one of the thermoplastic(s) to be heated to a liquid or semi-liquid state. The liquid/semi-liquid thermoplastic(s) act a binder for the mixed material. A system for forming such a composite material includes such a mixer with an interior friction coating. The system may also include a mould and/or a press for forming material produced by the mixer into a finished shape. The method and system may use post-consumer and post-industrial material as an input allowing such material to be recycled. In some cases, cross-contaminated or mixed post-consumer/post-industrial material may be recycled, potentially reducing environmental impacts.

摘要: An apparatus for preparing a liquid preparation uses a two-part system. A first part includes a first reagent and a second part includes a second reagent. The first reagent and the second reagent react when mixed to form an active ingredient of the liquid preparation. The liquid preparation is a diluent. The apparatus includes a primary chamber for receiving a quantity of the first part, a quantity of the second part and a quantity of the diluent, a reagent inlet for admitting the first part and the second part to the primary chamber, a diluent inlet connectable to a diluent supply for admitting the diluent to the primary chamber, an outlet for releasing the liquid preparation from the primary chamber, and a flow controller to admit a pre-determined volume of diluent to the primary chamber in a pre-determined time period when the diluent inlet is connected to a diluent supply.

摘要: The invention relates to a piston system (1) for use in a homogenizer, comprising a piston (2) that is configured and arranged to make a reciprocating movement in use of the piston system, a cylinder (3) that is configured and arranged to receive and guide at least a first part of the piston, a first supply channel (8) that is configured and arranged to supply a lubricating medium (9) to a portion (10) of the first part of the piston that in use is arranged inside the cylinder, and a second supply channel (13) that is configured and arranged to, in use, supply a cooling medium (14) to a second part of the piston outside the cylinder. Also disclosed is a process for the production of an elastomer agglomerate composition forcing a slurry comprising elastomeric particles through an aperture to obtain the elastomer agglomerate composition using the piston system.

The motor controller may be configured to alter the operations of the motor based the wireless signal. The wireless signal may include a blending program to be carried out by the blending device. The blending device may include one or more sensors configured to sense parameters of the blending device. The wireless signal may include information related to the sensed parameters. A blending device network may be formed by providing a second blending device having a wireless controller in communication with the first blending device wireless controller. The first and second blending devices may share information over the network.

摘要: Described here are apparatuses and methods for producing a composition comprising nano-bubbles dispersed in a liquid carrier. One such method includes flowing a liquid carrier from an inlet through at least two channels each including a triboelectric material, including flowing the liquid carrier such that a Reynolds number of the flow of the liquid carrier through the at least two channels is less than 3000. Flowing the liquid carrier through the at least two channels produces vibrational energy that causes: (i) the liquid carrier to contact the triboelectric material such that an electric charge is generated in the triboelectric material; and (ii) the liquid carrier to separate from the triboelectric material such that the electric charge is discharged to the liquid carrier to form nano-bubbles dispersed in the liquid carrier.

摘要: A system for treating wastewater from electronics and semiconductor companies that has at least one reactor tank assembly and at least one wastewater conveyance kit of inflow, outflow, and return flow pipe, valve, and pump assemblies. The at least one reactor tank assembly is interchangeably operable at least one or more of singly, as a series of reactor tank assemblies, and parallel with other reactor tank assemblies. At least one mixer assembly is operationally disposed within the reactor tank assembly and is designed to mix the wastewater in the reactor tank assembly. At least one pH computer-monitored sensor assembly is disposed at least partially within the wastewater flow. At least one or more of acid and caustic from respective storage tanks is used to change the pH of the wastewater until treated and suitable for discharge.

The kneading unit kneads a kneading material, and transmits a kneading state value indicating a kneading state to the determination unit. Based on the kneading state value transmitted from the kneading unit, the determination unit determines kneading of the kneading material in the kneading unit in accordance with a preset determination condition. The determination condition includes a determination period and a state value range. The state value range is set as a range for the kneading state value. The determination period is a partial period of a period from start to completion of the kneading in the kneading unit.
