    摘要: An electronically controlled type floatless carburetor includes a fuel regulating chamber from which fuel is delivered to a main fuel passage including a main jet and a pilot fuel passage including a pilot jet as a main diaphragm is actuated. A main solenoid valve is disposed at the intermediate position of the main fuel passage located on the downstream side of the main jet. In addition, a pilot solenoid valve is disposed at the intermediate position of the pilot fuel passage located on the downstream side of the pilot jet. Operation of each of the main solenoid valve and the pilot solenoid valve is controlled by an electronic controlling circuit into which various parameters are inputted so as to assure that main fuel and pilot fuel are ejected in a suction passage from a main nozzle and a slow system ejection port while they are well adapted to all operational states of an engine.

    摘要: A carburetor including a throttle valve for regulating the flow of air through the body of the carburetor and to an engine, with fuel being introduced into the air flow for intermixture therewith, and with the device including an air actuated element which is preferably located downstream of the throttle valve and is adapted to be displaced automatically by the air to different positions varying in correspondence with the rate of air flow through the device, and which forms a restriction varying in size with the rate of air flow and acting to enhance dispersal of the fuel within the air and assure intimate intermixture of the air and fuel for optimum functioning of the engine. The fuel may be premixed with a secondary flow of air before delivery of the fuel and secondary air as a combined stream into the primary flow of air, and the combined stream may be drawn by vacuum into the primary flow of air at the location of the restriction formed by the flow actuated member. Precise control of the amount of fuel which is fed into the primary flow is attained by automatic regulation of a valve controlling the amount of secondary air which is mixed with the fuel. A proper air-fuel ratio may be assured by utilizing movement of the air actuated element to control operation of the secondary air valve. Additional automatic controls for starting and idle purposes are actuated by a vacuum responsive element and a thermostatic element.

    摘要: An electromagnetic fluid flow control valve mechanism has a hollow slide valve linearly movable on and along a core in response to energization of a coil disposed around the slide valve for selective fluid communication between a inlet port and first and second outlet ports through a chamber in a casing. The ratio of a cross-sectional area of the inlet port to that of each of the first and second outlet ports is selected such that the chamber will develop a relatively small vacuum such as of 20 mmAg at maximum. Preferably, the ratio is 6.5 or greater. This arrangement prevents a fluid, typically air, from flowing from the second outlet port back into the chamber.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine fuel injection system includes a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the fuel or cooling water in the engine. When the detected temperature is higher than a given value, e.g., 50.degree. C., a pressure regulator for controlling the pressure of fuel supplied to a fuel injection valve is controlled so as to increase the fuel pressure irrespective of the intake pipe negative pressure and thereby increase the quantity of fuel supplied to the engine. In the case of an electronically controlled fuel injection control system, a predetermined correction quantity corresponding to the detected temperature from the temperature sensor is added to the basic fuel injection quantity calculated in accordance with given operating parameters of the engine, thereby increasing the quantity of fuel supplied to the engine.

    摘要: A control system for a mixture-compressing internal combustion engine with a throttle flap valve disposed in an intake manifold and an idle channel bypassing the throttle flap valve. An additional channel, terminating downstream of the idle channel in the intake manifold, with the additional channel merely forming an air channel. A valve is provided for controlling a communication between the additional channel and the intake manifold. The valve is connected with a diaphragm a back surface of which is adapted to be exposed to the intake manifold vacuum through a line connected to the intake manifold. A three/two-way on-off valve, influenced by a control device, is disposed in the line connected to the intake manifold. The on-off valve is adapted to vent the backside of the diaphragm when the intake manifold vacuum is above an idle value during a coasting of the engine so as to enable air to be introduced into the intake manifold through the additional channel.

    摘要: An air-fuel ratio control device of an internal combustion engine having a carburetor. An air bleed passage is connected to a fuel outflow passage of the carburetor, and an electromagnetic control valve is arranged in the air bleed passage. The control valve is controlled by the detecting signal of an oxygen concentration detector arranged in the exhaust passage so that the air-fuel ratio of a mixture fed into the cylinder of an engine becomes equal to the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio. When the vehicle is decelerated, the mean value of the potential level, which has been applied to the electromagnetic control valve before deceleration, is stored. When the throttle valve is opened during the deceleration and, then, the oxygen concentration detector detects that a rich air-fuel mixture is fed into the cylinder of the engine, the above-mentioned mean value is instantaneously applied to the electromagnetic control valve.
