摘要: A method of operating a motor vehicle includes a vehicle controller receiving, from a first feedback sensor of an HV component, a first feedback signal indicative of an electrical characteristic of the HV component, and then detecting an HV system fault if the first feedback signal is less than a predefined electrical threshold. Upon detecting the system fault, the controller commands the HV component to operate at a commanded set-point; after sending the command, the controller receives, from a second feedback sensor of the HV component, a second feedback signal indicative of an operating characteristic of the HV component. An HV pathway failure is detected if the second feedback signal is not equal to or within a predefined operating range of the commanded set-point. Upon detecting the pathway failure in an HV electrical pathway of the HV component, the vehicle controller transmits a command signal to take a remedial action.

A content of control is changed for at least one of the vehicle speed control, the power train control and the air-conditioning control while the air conditioning system is operating, compared to a case where the air conditioning system is not operating.

摘要: Vehicles such as a combustion engine, electric, and/or hybrid electric vehicles and methods of operation, which include controller(s) configured to respond to cruise control signals, and to generate a route efficiency profile according to instantaneous vehicle performance parameters and environmental conditions. The controller(s) are also modified to adjust a vehicle cruise speed according to the signal and profile, to enable reaching at least one designated destination in a minimum time, and whereby vehicle range is extended to the destination, while one or more reserve energy limits of battery power and fuel are maintained. The controller(s) are also adapted to detect instantaneous feedback signals that include the performance parameters and environmental conditions, and to generate error signals according to an actual vehicle watt-hour per mile efficiency and the route efficiency profile. The controller(s) adjust the cruise speed adaptively according to the error signal, such that error signal magnitude is reduced.

摘要: An engine control apparatus is applied to a system including rotating electrical machine, a battery connected to the rotating electrical machine via a power conversion circuit, and an electric load. The engine control apparatus determines that engine speed is within a predetermined rotation speed range including at least a resonance range of an engine during a rotation drop period while engine speed drops to zero after engine combustion is stopped, and, in the case where it is determined that engine speed is within predetermined rotation speed range, selectively performs one of first rotation drop processing of increasing reduction rate of engine speed by regenerative power generation of the rotating electrical machine and second rotation drop processing of increasing reduction rate of engine speed by causing rotating electrical machine to perform power driving on an inverse rotation side. At a rotation drop control unit the first rotation drop processing is performed.

In one example, a method may include receiving data including traffic information and road characteristics immediately ahead of a vehicle from one or more remote sources, and adjusting one or more vehicle thresholds based on the received data. A duration of a prospective engine idle-stop may be estimated based on the received data and an engine idle-stop may be initiated based on the duration of the prospective engine idle-stop and the adjusted one or more vehicle threshold.

Also disclosed is a motor vehicle that is configured to receive extra-vehicle data, including at least one weather parameter value. The motor vehicle is configured to determine a vehicle-dependent parameter value from the extra-vehicle data. The motor vehicle is configured to determine a driving range from the vehicle-dependent parameter value. In the method and motor vehicle embodiments, the extra-vehicle data are obtained from at least one additional motor vehicle.
