摘要： A round baler includes a bale size sensor operable to detect a radial size of a bale during formation thereof, a bale weight sensor operable to detect a weight of a completed bale, and a location sensor operable to determine a respective field origin location of the crop material gathered for each respective one of a plurality of radial layers of the bale. A controller calculates a density of a completed bale with data from the bale weight sensor and the bale size sensor. The controller determines a volume of a respective one of the radial layers during formation of a current bale, subsequent to the completed bale, with data from the bale size sensor. The controller may then estimate a density of the respective one of the radial layers based on the volume of the respective one of the radial layers, and the density of the previously completed bale.

摘要： A continuous round baler forms a cylindrically-shaped bale by spiral, coiled layers created by a conical portion of a bale-forming chamber and protruded upwardly from a cylindrical portion of the bale-forming chamber. The bale is circumferentially supported by netting applied to the bale in the cylindrical portion. A rotary feed table receives crop from the field and feeds the crop into the conical portion. The bale forming process can be interrupted if an insufficient volume of crop is collected on the rotary feed table. The netting material is provided on short rolls to facilitate loading onto the machine. A cutoff mechanism is coupled to the growth of the bale from the cylindrical portion to sever the bale at a predetermined length with end surfaces that are perpendicular to the axis of the bale. A bale density mechanism supports the distal end of the bale as the bale protrudes upwardly.

摘要： A baler system includes a baler controller includes a processor operable to execute a bale ejection algorithm to receive a command input to initiate a last bale ejection sequence. Upon receiving the command input, the baler controller automatically engages a knotter system to wrap and bind crop material currently disposed within a baling chamber to form a final bale. Upon forming the final bale, the baler controller automatically determines if a discharge location disposed proximate a discharge end of the baling chamber is clear of obstructions. Upon determining that the discharge end of the baling chamber is clear of obstructions, the baler controller automatically engages a bale ejection system to eject the final bale from the baling chamber and onto the discharge location.
