摘要: A method is carried-out by a controller architecture coupled to a beam assembly actuator, which is included in an articulating tongue arrangement connecting an agricultural implement to a tow vehicle. In an embodiment, the method includes: (i) monitoring, via the controller architecture, an effective tow length of an articulating beam assembly further included in the articulating tongue arrangement, the effective tow length measured along a straight line extending from a leading pivot joint of the articulating tongue arrangement to a trailing pivot joint of the articulating tongue arrangement; (ii) determining, at the controller architecture, an effective tow length target of the articulating tongue arrangement based upon operator input, sensor input, or a combination thereof; and (iii) transmitting commands from the controller architecture to the beam assembly actuator to maintain the effective tow length of the articulating beam assembly in conformance with the effective tow length target.

摘要: A device for separating infusion capsules includes a base unit and a plunger, the base unit having a face with an aperture for receiving a body part of the capsule, wherein a portion of the face surrounding the aperture has a surface that undulates in a longitudinal direction relative to a central axis through the aperture; the plunger including a projection sized to fit within the aperture. A capsule can be placed, rim side down, on the base unit over the aperture, and the plunger used to urge the capsule down into the aperture. The result is that the capsule inverts, rupturing the foil layer and emptying the coffee or other infusion into the base unit below the aperture. The coffee (etc) and the capsule can then be removed for separate recycling. The undulating surface ensures that the rim section of the capsule is distorted during this process, which assists in separating any layers that have been provided for example by way of sealant.

摘要: An exemplary embodiment of a screw crusher may utilize a cantilevered screw with an inverse tapered shaft with flighting for conveying the product up the length of the shaft for compression. The screw may include an end flight configured to provide thrust to the product for further conveyance beyond the end of the screw or additional compaction when utilized with a receiving container. An exemplary embodiment of the screw crusher may utilize a single moving element in relation to a cylindrical tube for compression of the product. Also, an exemplary screw compactor may utilize a fixed replaceable restrictor tube section and an efficient screw design making it more cost effective and efficient to operate than other known compactors. Furthermore, an example of the screw crusher may be fitted with perforated or the preferred “V” Slotted tube to perform liquid removal in addition to the compaction of the material.

摘要: A press for processing organic waste has two plungers. Preferably, the plungers have rectangular cross sections. The two plungers are mounted in the press such that they are perpendicular to each other and have partially overlapping stokes. The press has walls that partially enclose a pressing chamber. The pressing chamber is as wide as one plunger on one side, and as wide as the other plunger on another side. In operation, one of the two plungers is used to optionally load organic waste into the pressing chamber, to partially enclose the pressing chamber while the waste is compressed, and to eject compressed waste from the pressing chamber. The other plunger is used to compress waste in the pressing chamber whereby a pressate is produced through perforations in a wall of the pressing chamber. The other plunger may also partially enclose the pressing chamber while compressed waste is ejected.

摘要: A free standing, portable and hand operated beverage can crushing apparatus to crush individual cans and allow them to drop into a storage container. Included is a rigid support frame that holds the angled crushing chamber where the cans are inserted. A lid is pivotally attached to the top of the support frame above the chamber. Attached to the lid is a ram that holds a roller head assembly that engages the can while the wheels on the roller head rotate across the end cap of the can as external force is continually applied to the lids extended lever arm in a downward motion causing the can to be crushed. The lever arm when raised slightly from the closed position will allow the crushed can to fall by gravity from the chamber into the receptacle that is capable of holding numerous cans.

An adjustable shifter member is disposable in a plurality of selectable operating positions corresponding to the selectable retaining positions of the selector member.

摘要: This invention provides an apparatus for identifying and sorting part of recycling plastic bottles and aluminum cans. The invention eases the process of sorting recyclable material at the recycle bin to avoid the sorting later in the process. After sorting the material, the recycle bin compresses the bottles or the cans to accommodate more material into the corresponding material compartment. The invention is a modular arrangement allowing ease of replacing any of the three units of the apparatus: compression, classification, and storage.
