摘要: A free standing, portable and hand operated beverage can crushing apparatus to crush individual cans and allow them to drop into a storage container. Included is a rigid support frame that holds the angled crushing chamber where the cans are inserted. A lid is pivotally attached to the top of the support frame above the chamber. Attached to the lid is a ram that holds a roller head assembly that engages the can while the wheels on the roller head rotate across the end cap of the can as external force is continually applied to the lids extended lever arm in a downward motion causing the can to be crushed. The lever arm when raised slightly from the closed position will allow the crushed can to fall by gravity from the chamber into the receptacle that is capable of holding numerous cans.

The at least one advancing device (2) is configured to act on the receptacle (G) for compacting during conveying. A flap device (5) has an adjustable retaining flap (50) that closes the exit opening (6) in a closed position so that a receptacle (G) conveyed against the retaining flap (50) by the at least one advancing device (2) is retained on the retaining flap (50). The retaining flap (50) is adjustable out of the closed position to release the exit opening (6).

摘要: The invention is a domestic plastic bottle shredding machine. The machine has a hydraulic ram assembly located above the shredding mechanism so that any plastic, glass, paper, or aluminum that is introduced will be flattened prior to being shredded. A waste bin is located beneath the shredding mechanism such that the storage process is driven by gravity. The machine is designed for domestic uses such that the shape of the machine resembles a small garbage can. The primary feature of this invention is to aid the recycling process by shredding plastic, glass, paper, or aluminum in advance of the recycling process.

摘要: A system and apparatus for crushing waste material that is manual and portable. On the underside of the lid to the apparatus is a detachable handle with a plate attached thereto that has a series of rough ridges. The handle can descend down the height of the apparatus through a pair of parallel channels located down the front and rear of the apparatus. At the bottom of the apparatus on the interior is a mating plate that has a second series of rough edges that fit like a zipper with the ridges of the top plate for crushing of waste. The handle is lockable through latches to the lid of the apparatus when not in use. A second lock holds the handle in place on the rear of the apparatus when not in use. An interior removable basket with foldable handles and/or gripping holes on the side. The interior basket has channels on the front and rear walls that correspond to the main body portion. On the bottom of the of the basket is a series of rods that fit into the rough ridges found on the interior base portion of the main body.

摘要: A combination can crushing and retrieving device having a circular or tubular housing containing a plunger and having a rectangular opening in its side wall. The housing has a knife-edged slightly concave indent on the bottom of the housing, which indent generally conforms to the arch section of the necked down portion of a beverage can. When the concave indent is placed on the lip of a can laying on its side and forced down the can will “snap” upright, through the rectangular opening and into the housing. The can is then retained in the housing around the necked down portion by a foam/rubber lining located at the lower inside end of the housing. Then the weighted plunger is forced down onto the can, crushing the can. By placing the end of the device holding the can into a larger receptacle the can may then be ejected from the device by pressing an ejector rod.
