The device incorporates at least one pressure balancing valve located between at least two fluid volumes that can be in a pressure differential arrangement wherein the at least one pressure balancing valve acts to address a pressure differential by opening a fluid volume or volumes to a third pressure equalising volume. In use, the fluid circuit device may in one embodiment be used in an energy absorbtion apparatus.

摘要: A pneumatic actuator and control valve assembly has a housing with a control cavity for a control valve and an actuator cavity for an actuator piston and rod assembly. The control cavity and actuator cavity both have an elongated shape and are substantially parallel to each other. The control cavity has a supply port and first and second control valve outlet ports and at least one vent port with the control valve being movable through the control cavity for controlling communication between the supply port and the first and second outlet ports. The actuator cavity has first and second ports at the retracted and extended ends for shuttling the piston and within the actuator cavity between a retracted and extended end position. The housing has a first inlet and second inlet for passage of pressurized fluid to and from the housing.

摘要: A pneumatic device having a pneumatic cylinder and a piston movably mounted in the pneumatic cylinder to divide an interior of the pneumatic cylinder into two chambers. The chambers are connected to a line network having a valve assembly. The line network, in a plurality of operating states of the valve assembly serving for venting the respective chamber, connects the respective chamber to at least a respective selected one of a plurality of outflow openings, of the pneumatic device, and in a further operating state of the valve assembly, disconnects the respective chamber from the outflow opening. A control installation of the pneumatic device adjusts the operating state of the valve assembly. The line network is designed so that, in at least three of the operating states for venting the respective chamber, the connection between the respective chamber and the outflow opening is established by mutually dissimilar flow resistances.

Each of the screw threads has a lead of about 0.07 to 0.12 inches, a pitch of about 0.02 to 0.04 inches, a thread angle of about 40 to 50 degrees, and a depth of about 0.01 to 0.02 inches.
