Abstract: A seat pad (1) includes a surface portion (1a) configured of a polyurethane foam (11). In the surface portion (1a), wiring grooves (2) for wiring a wire harness (3) are formed. Each wiring groove (2) has a groove width W narrower than the diameter (φ 3) of the harness (3), and a groove depth (D) deeper than the diameter φ3 of the harness (3). A seat pad manufacturing method uses, as a molding die, a molding die that has groove-forming protrusions to form the wiring grooves (2) and has holes formed in side surfaces of the groove-forming protrusions. A polyurethane foam material is supplied to an interior of the molding die, and when a molded product is removed from the molding die, molded portions formed in the holes are forcibly pulled out of the holes of the groove-forming protrusions.

Abstract: A process for producing a polyurethane or polyisocyanurate construction board, the process comprising of providing an A-side reactant stream that includes an isocyanate-containing compound; providing a B-side reactant stream that includes a polyol, where the B-side reactant steam includes a blowing agent mixture including isopentane and a blowing agent additive that has a Hansen Solubility Parameter (δt) that is greater than 15 MPa0.5; and mixing the A-side reactant stream with the B-side reactant stream to produce a reaction mixture.

Abstract: A recorded matter having a three-dimensional image is produced by a method comprising the steps of: applying, to a recording medium including a substrate and a foaming layer provided thereon, a foam-promoting liquid containing water and a foam-promoting component; and heating the foaming layer. The foaming particle includes a shell layer containing a thermoplastic resin and a volatile material encapsulated in the shell layer. The binder resin contains a water-insoluble resin, while the foam-promoting component contains a compound having no hydroxyl group.

Abstract: A car safety seat is disclosed in the invention, including a main body and a flexible layer. Multiple air vents are formed on the main body and penetrate through the main body along a front-to-rear direction. The flexible layer is formed on a surface of the main body and in the air vents. The multiple air vents enable vapor to pass through the main body without being blocked by the main body during a foaming process, which thereby allows foaming particles to fully contact with the vapor to ensure an enhanced foaming effect. Also, the flexible layer is not only formed on the surface of the main body but also formed in the air vents to fill the air vents, and thereby the flexible layer is more tightly combined with the main body to reduce a risk of detachment from the main body.
