摘要: The present invention is directed to a foam-injected slat and a method of manufacturing thereof used in building fencing, privacy screens, pergolas, louvers, wall claddings, and other similar types of structures. Use of foam-injected slats in the aforementioned structures provides noise reduction, heat insulation, and vibration absorption. In addition, they are lightweight, strong, durable in heavy weather conditions, environmentally friendly, easy to install, and cost effective. Lastly, the manufacturing process enables the forming of a special locking mechanism that further strengthens the foam-injected slats.

摘要: A production method of a modeled object includes a fixing step of fixing a thermally expandable sheet onto a tray by entirely or partially fixing a periphery of the thermally expandable sheet placed on the tray by a fixing member; a thermally expanding step of thermally expanding partially the thermally expandable sheet, which is in a state of being fixed onto the tray by the fixing step, by being heated by irradiating the thermally expandable sheet with light by an irradiation unit, while moving the irradiation unit from a first position toward a second position unit; and cooling the thermally expandable sheet, which has been thermally expanded partially by the thermally expanding step, while maintaining the state in which the thermally expandable sheet is fixed onto the tray, while returning the irradiation unit from the second position to the first position.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a foam component includes printing a preform with a three-dimensional printer. The preform is formed from a pre-saturated mixture of a base material that is at least partially saturated with a foaming agent. The preform is foamed by heating the preform to be at or above a glass transition temperature of the base material, thereby causing the foaming agent to nucleate and expand to form the foam component. Foaming occurs at atmospheric pressure. The preform includes a preliminary lattice structure that corresponds with a final lattice structure of the foam component.

摘要: The disclosure belongs to the technical field of heat insulation materials, and discloses an in-situ microfibrillated reinforced polymer composite heat insulation foam material as well as a preparation method and application thereof. This disclosure adopts a polypropylene matrix, a fiber-forming polymer, an elastomer and an antioxidant as a foam material. The foaming material is subjected to a primary melt blending process and a hot stretching process first, then subjected to a secondary melt blending process and cooling granulation and subjected to a pressing process, and a composite board is obtained. The composite board is subjected to supercritical fluid foaming process, and a composite heat insulation foam material is obtained.

That is, a pressure increasing period (71) in which the gas pressure increases at least partially overlaps with the metering process (61).

The fluid circulation loop is also provided with a controlled expansion valve (34) for cooling by conversion of hot pressurized water into steam, and a water source (38) for slow cooling.

摘要: The present invention provides a continuous process for solid-state expansion of a biopolymer, e.g., polylactic acid, which can be used to manufacture reduced-density thermoplastic materials with improved physical and thermal properties. By incorporating multiple stages of heating into the process as a means to regulate heat flux, unprecedented control of microstructure and crystallinity can be achieved. Thermoplastic sheets with the distinct cellular characteristics imparted by the process disclosed herein were found to be thicker and stronger than materials prepared by conventional processes. Thermoforming sheets with such characteristics enabled the production of light-weight, thermally-stable, compostable products that resist warping, and are thus suitable for a range of industrial applications.

摘要: A recorded matter having a three-dimensional image is produced by a method comprising the steps of: applying, to a recording medium including a substrate and a foaming layer provided thereon, a foam-promoting liquid containing water and a foam-promoting component; and heating the foaming layer. The foaming layer contains a binder resin and a foaming particle which foams as heated, while the foam-promoting component lowers a foaming start temperature of the foaming particle. The foaming particle includes a shell layer containing a thermoplastic resin and a volatile material encapsulated in the shell layer. The binder resin contains a water-insoluble resin, while the foam-promoting component contains a compound having no hydroxyl group.
