摘要: Physical foaming a footwear component with a single-phase solution of a polymeric composition and a supercritical fluid is provided. The method include temperature conditioning a mold and then engaging the mold with a robot that conveys the mold to a press. At the press a gas counter pressure is applied to a cavity of the mold before injecting a single-phase solution of a polymeric composition and a supercritical fluid into the cavity of the mold. The process continues with releasing the gas counter pressure from the cavity of the mold and then removing the footwear component from the cavity of the mold. The parameters of the method are configured for the formation of the footwear component in an automated manner.

摘要: A method for producing a foam-molded product by using a plasticizing cylinder, includes: plasticizing and melting the thermoplastic resin to provide the molten resin in a plasticization zone of the plasticizing cylinder; introducing a pressurized fluid containing the physical foaming agent at a fixed pressure into a starvation zone of the plasticizing cylinder to retain the starvation zone at the fixed pressure; allowing the molten resin to be in the starved state in the starvation zone; bringing the molten resin in contact with the pressurized fluid containing the physical foaming agent at the fixed pressure, in the starvation zone in a state in which the starvation zone is retained at the fixed pressure; and molding the molten resin having been brought in contact with the pressurized fluid containing the physical foaming agent into the foam-molded product.

摘要: A press (10) for manufacturing a sandwich panel comprises a first and second press plate (12; 14) that are movable with respect to one another. The press (10) has a fluid circulation loop for heating and cooling the press plates(12; 14). The fluid circulation N loop comprises a heater (22) for generating a hot fluid connected to a fluid supply conduit(24)in fluid communication with an inlet(18) of at least one internal flow channel (16) in each press plate (12; 14) and connected to a fluid return conduit(26) in fluid communication with an outlet (20) of the at least one internal flow channel(16). The fluid circulation loop is also provided with a controlled expansion valve (34) for cooling by conversion of hot pressurized water into steam, and a water source (38) for slow cooling.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a foam molded article is disclosed. The method includes the steps of forming a foam parison by extruding a molten, kneaded resin containing a foaming agent through an annular slit in an extrusion direction in which a molding region between a pair of split molds lies, and molding a foam molded article by closing the split molds with respect to the foam parison located in the molding region. The parison formation step includes performing pre-blowing by injecting air toward an inner surface of the foam parison in a direction which forms an angle of 45° or more and 135° or less with the extrusion direction.

H/D is 1.33 to 3.33 and L/D is 0.33 to 2.00, D being a die core diameter, H being a distance between a lower surface of the die core and an upper surface of each of the split molds, and L being a distance between a lower surface of each of the split molds and an upper surface of the corresponding lower pincher. The die core diameter is between 50 and 300 mm.
