    摘要: An adjustable mounting bracket for mounting a skull of an animal onto a wall or other flat surface. The mounting bracket is adjustable so that the angle at which the skull is held can be changed, so that the mounted skull of the animal can be rotated from side to side, and so that the stinger to which the skull is secured to the mounting bracket can be lifted off of the base of the mounting bracket without removing the base from the wall to which it is secured. The base can be made in a variety of shapes and designs to add to the esthetics of the mount. Adjustment of the mounting bracket does not require any tools. The stinger is removable which facilitates marketing, packaging and distribution requirements in addition to making it easier to attach a skull to it.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing a taxidermy mannequin includes providing a mold having an open end, a wall having an internal surface and an opposing external surface, and an internal cavity surrounded by the internal surface of the wall. The method further includes applying a layer of a mold release material to a portion of the internal surface, applying a powder material on an exposed surface of the mold release material, applying a layer of a glue mixture on an exposed surface of the powder material and the mold release material layer, applying a granular or fibrous material on an exposed surface of the glue mixture layer, allowing the glue mixture to at least partially dry, filling at least a portion of the internal cavity of the mold with a liquid expandable urethane foam, allowing the expandable urethane foam to expand and harden, and removing the taxidermy mannequin from the mold.

The model includes an outer shell resembling the appropriate animal or human being with openings for accessing the interior cavity of the shell. Modules within the interior cavity are operably connected to the openings to permit external access to the modules. The modules comprise different mechanical components configured to represent an organ or anatomical feature. Spacers within the interior cavity provide structure and maintain placement of the modules and sufficiently realistic tactile feedback during an endoscopic procedure.

    摘要: A method of making a foam manikin with a stand is provided. The method includes sculpting a sculpture of the manikin and forming the sculpture around a mating portion. Then a mold is formed using the sculpture. The mold may include an opening that is formed around the mating portion. The mold may be made in a plurality of pieces and may be taken apart and put back together. To form the manikin, the mold is secured around the mating portion and the mold is filled with a foam. Once filled with foam, the manikin is formed with at least a portion of the mating portion embedded within. The mating portion may be releasably attached to a stand so that the manikin may stand in an upright position.

The retainer has an upwardly extending substantially straight stem portion having an upper end portion downwardly bent into a substantially straight right angle arm. The arm has a lower end portion bent upwardly into a U-shaped hook portion for holding a rim of the ear supported by the ear liner during drying of a cape on the mannikin.

The face plaque comprises a graphic on its front side and a fastener on its back side. The fastener allows the face plaque to attach to the present invention.
