摘要: An operation determination processing section of a center extracts words included in the utterance of a driver and an operator, reads an attribute associated with each word from a synonym and related word in which an attribute is stored so as to be associated with each word, reads a domain of a candidate or the like for the task associated with the attribute from the synonym and related word in which domains of a candidate for a task associated with the read attribute or domains of a task to be actually performed are stored, totals the domains read for each word for words included in the utterance of the driver or the like, and estimates those related to a domain with a highest total score as the candidate for the task and the task to be actually performed. In this manner, it is possible to estimate the task with high accuracy.

摘要: An electric brake system for a motor vehicle has a plurality of braking force generating mechanisms associated with respective road wheels and including electronic actuators mechanically separate from a brake pedal. In the event of a failure of at least one of the braking force generating mechanisms, the electric brake system selects and operates normal braking force generating mechanism or mechanisms for braking the motor vehicle stably with boosted braking forces. The braking force generating mechanisms are mechanically separate from the brake pedal and operable independently of each other. Failure detecting circuits are associated respectively with the braking force generating mechanisms, for detecting a failure of the braking force generating mechanisms and producing a failure signal representing the failure. The electric brake system includes a controller for controlling the braking force generating mechanisms in response to the signal from the brake pedal. The controller selects at least one of the braking force generating mechanisms to be operated based on the failure signal from the failure detecting circuit according to a predetermined rule.

摘要: In a motor disc brake system using an electric motor as a drive source of a thrust generating device that can move a piston in advancing and retracting directions, a slide bearing is interposed between a piston and a brake caliper carrying the piston for receiving a side thrust which is applied from a friction pad to the piston during braking. This serves to suppress increase in the slide resistance of the piston even under the action of such side thrust, enabling a strong braking force to be provided with use of a motor of small capacity.

摘要: A multiple clutch device 1 includes a first clutch component 10, a second clutch component 20, a first oil channel 51, and a second oil channel 51. The first clutch component 10 is able to link an input shaft 2 and a first output shaft 3 by frictional engagement. The second clutch component 20 is able to link the input shaft 2 and a second output shaft 4 by frictional engagement. The first oil channel 51 serves to supply lubricating fluid to the first clutch component 10. The second oil channel 52 is substantially independent from the first oil channel 51, and serves to supply lubricating fluid to the second clutch component 20.

摘要: A damper mechanism that has a simplified structure and maintains torsional characteristics of a conventional damper mechanism is provided. The damper mechanism is equipped with an input rotating body 2, an output rotating body 3, and two or more coil spring assemblies 9. The two or more coil spring assemblies 9 elastically couple the input rotating body 2 and the output rotating body 3 together in a rotational direction and serve to absorb twisting torque. Each coil spring assembly 9 has at least one coil spring 41 whose center axis is roughly linear. At least one of coil spring assemblies 9 absorbs 35% to 50% of the twisting torque.

摘要: In estimating the relative speed between a vehicle and an objective obstacle, a plurality of objective obstacle data are labeled, and an objective obstacle data preestimated on the basis of the past objective data is compared with an objective obstacle newly provided, thereby judging whether or not there is the same obstacle for every label. With regard to the objective obstacle data decided as being the same, the amount of variation in distance is determined for every label by comparison of the last data and the now data and divided by a sampling time to provide a relative speed. Thus, noise data can be eliminated to reliably provide a relative speed between a subject vehicle and an existent objective obstacle.

摘要: A dual-tone multiple-frequency (DTMF)-signal generating apparatus of the present invention is provided with a high-group frequency divider and a low-group frequency divider for dividing a reference frequency signal into high-group frequencies and low-group frequencies, respectively. The respective outputs from the high-group divider and the low-group divider are supplied to a high-group-sine-wave-signal generator and a low-group-sine-wave-signal generator. The high- and low-group-sine-wave-signal generators comprise a plurality of bi-stable circuits and include shift registers for sequentially shifting a divided input signal within a predetermined period, a plurality of switches which selectively pass high or low level signal corresponding to the outputs of the respective bi-stable circuits, and a plurality of capacitive elements in which the terminals on one side thereof are supplied with the high or low level passed by the plurality of switches, and the terminals on the other side thereof are commonly connected, the high or low level being applied to the comon connection for every cycle of the shift registers to produce the high- and low-group-sine-wave signals from the common connection. The respective sine wave signals are level converting by a high-group level converter comprising a capacitor and a switch and by a low-group level converter comprising a capacitor and a switch. The level converted high- and low-group-sine-wave signals are combined by a mixer comprising buffer amplifiers, resistors and a transistor, thereby obtaining a DTMF signal.
