摘要: A damper mechanism that has a simplified structure and maintains torsional characteristics of a conventional damper mechanism is provided. The damper mechanism is equipped with an input rotating body 2, an output rotating body 3, and two or more coil spring assemblies 9. The two or more coil spring assemblies 9 elastically couple the input rotating body 2 and the output rotating body 3 together in a rotational direction and serve to absorb twisting torque. Each coil spring assembly 9 has at least one coil spring 41 whose center axis is roughly linear. At least one of coil spring assemblies 9 absorbs 35% to 50% of the twisting torque.

摘要: Apparatus for damping vibrations between the output element of the engine and the power train in a motor vehicle has flywheels which are rotatable relative to each other. One flywheel is mounted on the output element of the engine and the other flywheel is connectable to the power train by a friction clutch. Vibration dampers are installed between the flywheels, and such dampers are confined in a housing which is provided on the one flywheel and contains a supply of viscous fluid medium for the parts of the dampers. The housing is the input element of the dampers and the output member of the dampers is a flange which extends into the housing and is axially movably coupled to the other flywheel. The flywheels rotate with respect to one another and the dampers contain resilient elements which selectively oppose rotation of the flywheels during various stages of rotation. The resilient elements are also arranged not to oppose rotation of the flywheels during an initial stage.

摘要: A clutch disk assembly has an input rotary member 2, a spline hub 3, a damper section 4, a friction mechanism 13, and a friction suppressing mechanism. The damper section 4 has second springs 8 and a torsion characteristic having a positive side corresponding to when the input rotary member 2 is twisted in a rotational drive direction with respect to the spline hub 3 and a negative side corresponding to when the input rotary member 2 is twisted in an opposite direction. The friction mechanism 13 can generate friction when the input rotary member 2 and the spline hub 3 undergo relative rotation and the second springs 8 exert an elastic force. The friction suppressing mechanism secures a rotational gap &thgr;ACn on only the positive or negative side preventing the second spring 8 from acting on the friction mechanism within a prescribed angular range.

摘要: A torsional vibration damping device in the drive train of a motor vehicle has two coaxial cover plates which are rotationally connected and are kept at a distance apart. The two coaxial cover plates rotate about a common axis of rotation within a certain angular range relative to a coaxial internally located part arranged between the two cover paltes and the cover plates are elastically connected to the internally located part by a spring element which is effective in the circumferential direction. The cover plates are held apart by distance pieces applied transversely to the circumferential direction. Each distance piece has a joint region where the distance piece is connected to the cover plate and a connecting region which traverses the distance between the cover plates. The radial distance between the joint region and the axis of rotation differs from the radial distance between the connecting region and the axis of rotation.

摘要: A torsional vibration damping apparatus which operates between the crankshaft of the engine and the input shaft of the transmission in a motor vehicle has two flywheels which are rotatable relative to each other against the opposition of one or more dampers installed in a fluid-containing chamber of the flywheel which is connected to the crankshaft. The chamber has one or two annular compartments for the coil springs of the damper or dampers, and such coil springs are precurved over their longitudinal extension. Each precurved spring has a center of curvature and includes neighboring convolutions each having a first portion nearer to and a second portion more distant from the center of curvature of the respective spring.

摘要: A damper disk assembly is provided for use in a clutch device that suppresses wearing and breakage of a spring seat during operation of a clutch. The damper disk assembly has a pair of plates 5 and 6 elastically coupled to the hub flange 8 by a damper mechanism 4. The damper mechanism 4 includes a plurality of coil spring assemblies 13 having a large coil spring 30, a small coil spring 31 and a pair of spring seats 64. The paired spring seats 64 are arranged on the circumferentially opposite ends of the small coil spring 31. The hub flange 8 is a plate member provided with spring accommodating openings 21. The clutch and retaining plates 5 and 6 are fixed together such that they are axially spaced by a predetermined distance with the flange 8 disposed therebetween. The clutch and retaining plates 5 and 6 are provided with spring accommodating portions 11 in positions corresponding to the openings 21. The small coil springs 31 are disposed within the openings 21 and portions 11 for transmitting a torque between the flange 8 and the plates 5 and 6. The spring seats 64 have support portions 65 that support the circumferentially opposite ends of the spring 31. The support portions 65 of the spring seats 64 are supported by the circumferentially opposite ends of the opening 21 and the portion 11. The portion 11 is provided at its circumferentially opposite ends with spring seat receiving portions 32 extended axially, and having an axial length larger than the axial thickness of each of the plates and 6 for contact with the support portion 65 of the spring seat 64.

摘要: A torsional vibration damper for arrangement in a clutch disk includes a hub element and a hub-disk arrangement arranged on the hub element. The hub-disk arrangement has a first transmission arrangement and a second transmission arrangement which is rotatable about an axis of rotation relative to the first transmission arrangement. A first damping arrangement acts between the first and the second transmission arrangement. A third transmission arrangement is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the hub element. A second damping arrangement acts between the third transmission arrangement and one of the first and second transmission arrangements and allows a relative rotation between the third transmission arrangement and the one of the first and second transmission arrangements. Furthermore, a first friction device acts between the third transmission arrangement and at least one of the first and second transmission arrangements. The first friction device comprises a first friction-device area which, starting from a basic relative rotational position between the third transmission arrangement and the at least one transmission arrangement of the first and second transmission arrangements generates essentially no frictional force in an angular range of relative rotation between the third transmission arrangement and the at least one of the first and second transmission arrangements and generates a frictional force when the angular range of relative rotation.

摘要: A clutch disk assembly (1) includes an input rotary member (2), an output rotary member (3), a damper mechanism (4, 5) and a large friction mechanism (13). The damper mechanism couples the input and output rotary members (2) and (3) together in a rotating direction. The damper mechanism exhibits torsion characteristics having differing first stage and second stage responses such that in the second stage a higher degree of rigidity is exhibited than in the first stage. In the second stage when small levels of vibrations are dampened, the response characteristics in response to positive direction rotary displacement between the input and output rotary members differs from the response characteristics exhibited as a result of negative direction relative rotary displacement. Specifically, in the positive direction, the large friction mechanism (13) is prevented from operating in a first angular range within the second stage. In the negative direction, the large friction mechanism (13) is prevented from operating in a second angular range in the second stage. The first and second angular ranges differ.
