摘要: A rotating inertia mass damper of a damper device comprises a planetary gear including a driven member that has external teeth and that serves as a sun gear; a plurality of pinion gears; first and second input plate members that are configured to support the plurality of pinion gears in a rotatable manner and that serve as a carrier; and a ring gear that is engaged with the plurality of pinion gears and that serves as a mass body. The ring gear has two gear main bodies that are arranged along an axial direction of the planetary gear and that are coupled with each other. Internal teeth of the two gear main bodies are shifted to each other in a circumferential direction of the gear main bodies.

摘要: A torque converter is provided. The torque converter includes an impeller and a stator. The stator includes a thrust assembly connected to both the stator and the impeller. The thrust assembly includes an axial thrust surface for axially contacting an axial surface of a radially extending wall of the impeller. A method of forming a torque converter is also provided. The method includes connecting a thrust assembly to a stator and connecting an impeller to the thrust assembly.

The second spring set is a member having a lower stiffness than a stiffness of the first spring set and is arranged between the second flywheel and the first spring set in a pre-compressed state such that it acts in series with the first spring set.

摘要: A damper mechanism 6 is provided to transmit torque while absorbing and damping torsional vibrations. A small coil spring 45 achieves characteristics of a low rigidity in a small torsion angle region of the torsion characteristics when compressed by rotary members. A coil spring 33 achieves characteristics of a high rigidity in a large torsion angle region of the torsion characteristics when compressed by the rotary members rotating relatively to each other. A frictional resistance generating mechanism 7 generates a frictional resistance while each spring is being compressed. Owing to a rotating-direction space 79, the frictional resistance generating mechanism 7 does not operate in the second stage of the torsion characteristics and also does not in the first stage while a torsion angle is in a predetermined range.

摘要: Apparatus for damping vibrations between the output element of the engine and the power train in a motor vehicle has flywheels which are rotatable relative to each other. One flywheel is mounted on the output element of the engine and the other flywheel is connectable to the power train by a friction clutch. Vibration dampers are installed between the flywheels, and such dampers are confined in a housing which is provided on the one flywheel and contains a supply of viscous fluid medium for the parts of the dampers. The housing is the input element of the dampers and the output member of the dampers is a flange which extends into the housing and is axially movably coupled to the other flywheel. The flywheels rotate with respect to one another and the dampers contain resilient elements which selectively oppose rotation of the flywheels during various stages of rotation. The resilient elements are also arranged not to oppose rotation of the flywheels during an initial stage.
