Abstract: The invention relates to a conveyor device with at least one first and second conveyor carriage which are arranged one behind the other in the conveyor direction (F), a cross belt conveyor which is formed on at least the second conveyor carriage for conveying material to be conveyed in a cross conveyor direction (Q) oriented substantially transversely to the conveyor direction (F), and a powertrain brake for the cross belt conveyor. An operating device is arranged on the first conveyor carriage and a brake device is arranged on the second conveyor carriage. The brake device assumes the release state when the first and second conveyor carriage are traveling in a substantially straight manner, and the brake device assumes the brake state when at least one of the conveyor carriages is cornering in order to allow a movement of a cross belt of the cross belt conveyor in a cross conveyor direction (Q) when traveling in a straight manner and brake the movement when cornering.

Abstract: A drive device for an actuator for a brake device of a motor vehicle. The drive device has an electric machine having a rotor rotatably mounted in a housing and a stator fixed to the housing. A bearing shield is situated in the housing that has an axially extending sleeve-shaped bearing segment for the rotatable bearing of a drive shaft, which bears the rotor. The bearing shield has an axially extending sleeve-shaped retaining segment held with a frictional fit in a sleeve-shaped end segment of the housing and has a diameter that is greater than the diameter of the bearing segment. A radially extending annular disk-shaped floor segment of the bearing shield is between the retaining segment and the bearing segment. The retaining segment has a first axial partial segment connected to the floor segment, and a second partial segment connected to the first partial segment.

Abstract: A method and system for monitoring operation of a brake control circuit periodically verifies that redundant output control channels transition between ON and OFF states. A controller generates separate brake release signals for each of the redundant output control channels. The brake release signals are combined to form a brake command signal used to control operation of the brake coil. An input channel on the controller receives a signal corresponding to the current state of the brake command signal to monitor brake operation. The controller periodically modulates the brake release signals on each channel between an ON and an OFF state. The modulation is observed on the brake command signal to verify that each output channel is able to change state. The modulation occurs at a frequency greater than a response frequency of the brake coil such that the brake coil remains energized during modulation of each output channel.

Abstract: A hydraulic operating device for a small vehicle including a bicycle is basically provided with a base member, an operating member, a piston, a handlebar fixing structure and a hydraulic reservoir tank. The base member includes a cylinder having a cylinder bore. The operating member is pivots about a pivot axis to move the piston within the cylinder bore. The handlebar fixing structure defines a handlebar arrangement area. The hydraulic reservoir tank has a hydraulic fluid chamber fluidly connected to the cylinder bore. The cylinder defines a hydraulic pressure chamber with a space between the piston and a fluid outlet port of the cylinder. The hydraulic reservoir tank is partially disposed on a first side of the handlebar fixing structure while the hydraulic pressure chamber is disposed on a second side of the handlebar fixing structure as view in the pivot axis direction.
