    Abstract: Electric machine assemblies are disclosed. The electric machine assembly includes a stator, a rotor movably coupled with the stator, a starter ring gear component fixedly coupled with the rotor on a first side of the stator, and a transmission coupler fixedly coupled with the rotor on a second side of the stator opposite from the first side. Further disclosed are engine systems and methods of assembling the same, where the engine system includes an engine block with a crankshaft, as well as the electric machine assembly operatively coupled with the engine block such that the starter ring gear component is fixedly coupled with the crankshaft and the rotor on a first side of the stator.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a geared motor comprising a first brushless electric motor part having a stator, a rotor and a drive shaft, a second part having an output shaft and a reduction gear mechanism and an electronic part. The reduction gear mechanism comprises an output shaft, a worm and a toothed wheel designed to be engaged by the worm and to drive the output shaft in rotation. The geared motor comprises at least one rolling guide bearing disposed on the drive shaft and a multipolar magnet for measuring the position of the rotor. The rolling bearing is disposed between the measurement magnet and the worm such that the electric motor can be controlled depending on the measurement of the position of the rotor.

    Abstract: A motor control device that controls a motor includes a calculator to calculate angle information related to a rotation angle of a rotor of the motor based on an output from a magnetic sensor, and a corrector to correct the angle information calculated by the calculator. The magnetic sensor is a sensor that includes a magnetoresistance effect element and outputs signals of two systems out of phase with each other by 180°. The corrector corrects the angle information using a correction amount expressed by a function including a current value of a motor current supplied to a stator of the motor and a phase angle of the motor current, a current value of a power source current supplied to the motor control device, and a mechanical angle of the rotor calculated based on an output from the magnetic sensor.

    Abstract: Electric motors and methods of controlling electric motors are described herein. The electric motors include a mobile component having at least one permanent magnet coupled thereto and a stator spaced apart from the mobile component. The stator includes at least one stator pole having a ferromagnetic core and a coil wrapped around the ferromagnetic core. The ferromagnetic core is naturally attracted to the at least one permanent magnet. The motors also include a magnetic position control system configured to monitor a position of the at least one permanent magnet relative to the stator and controllably deliver an electric pulse to the coil of each stator pole to generate a repulsive magnetic flux on the ferromagnetic core to cancel an attraction force between the ferromagnetic core and the at least one permanent magnet to control movement of the mobile component.

    Abstract: The present application relates to the field of beam scanning technology and provides a galvanometer motor and a LiDAR. The galvanometer motor includes a stator assembly, a rotor assembly, a tunneling magnetoresistance sensor, a first magnet, and a second magnet. The stator assembly includes a housing and a stator body, while the rotor assembly includes a rotating shaft, a rotor magnet, and an angle limiting member. The rotating shaft is rotatably mounted in the housing around a first shaft line, with a gap between the rotor magnet and the stator body. The rotor magnet rotates around the first shaft line under the magnetic field of the stator body. The tunneling magnetoresistance sensor can map the limited angles formed by the first angle and the second angle into finite position codes.
