    Abstract: An electric work machine includes a brushless motor including a stator including a stator core, an electrical insulator located on the stator core, and at least one coil wound around the stator core with the electrical insulator in between, and a rotor rotatable with respect to the stator, and an output unit drivable by the brushless motor. The stator core has a through-hole and/or a recess to lock rotation of the stator with a screw.

    Abstract: A power tool includes a motor (8) having a stator (9), a rotor (10) and three terminals (81). The stator includes a tubular stator core (60) having six teeth (63), first and second electrically insulating members (61, 62) affixed to the stator core, and six coils (64) wound around the teeth such that three phases are defined. The three terminals are held by the first electrically insulating member and are respectively electrically connected to the three phases. All of the six coils may be formed by winding a single continuous winding wire (101) sequentially around each of the six teeth. All of the three terminals (81) may be disposed within a semicircular area of the stator core. At least a first crossover wire portion (102) of the winding wire may be disposed on the second electrically insulating member.

The rotor has a rotor core (31) and first and second magnetic-pole parts (34S, 34N) disposed around a circumferential direction of the rotor core. When the induced voltage of the brushless motor is given as Va, the power-supply voltage of the brushless motor is given as Vb, the rotational speed of the brushless motor is given as ω, a first induced voltage constant, which is expressed by Va/ω, is given as Ea [V/krpm], a pole-pairs count, which is the number of the first magnetic-pole parts or the second magnetic-pole parts, is given as Pi, and a second induced voltage constant, which is expressed as Ea/Pi, is given as Eb [V/krpm·pole-pairs count], the motor satisfies the condition: Eb≤0.025×Vb.

    Abstract: An electric work machine, such as a lawn mower includes a motor case (22) fixed inside a main-body housing (10). A brushless motor (21) is housed inside the motor case (22) and includes a stator (23) having a stator core (40), coils (45), and upper and lower insulators (42, 43), and a rotor (24) disposed inward of the stator (23) and having a rotary shaft (25). A spindle (17) is driven by the rotary shaft (25). The motor case (22) holds the stator (23) and axially supports the rotary shaft (25) via bearings (68, 76). One or more insulating members, such as an insulating cap (67) and/or a resin layer (78), provide electrical insulation between the stator core (40) and the rotary shaft (25).

    Abstract: A power tool (1) includes a brushless motor (8) having a stator (9) and a rotor (10). The stator (9) includes: a tubular stator core (60); front and rear insulators (61, 62) fixed to the stator core; and coils (64), which are wound around a plurality of teeth (63) on the stator core. The rotor (10) includes: a rotor core (67) disposed within the stator; a rotary shaft (11) fixed to the rotor core; and one or more permanent magnets (68) fixed to the rotor core. A sensor-circuit board (65) detects the position(s) of the permanent magnet(s) and is fixed to the stator. One or more notched parts (91) is/are formed, in an outer circumference of the sensor-circuit board, between circumferentially-adjacent teeth in an axial direction of the stator. The notch part(s) allow(s) air for cooling the brushless motor to pass more easily through the interior of the stator.
