    Abstract: A permanent magnet (PM) motor is provided to facilitate air movement through heat rejection equipment. The PM motor has a body, an upper bearing housing positioned on and extending upwardly from a top surface of the body, a shaft connected to and extending from the upper bearing housing and in communication with a fan, and a lower bearing housing positioned on and extending downwardly from a bottom surface of the body opposite the top surface. The PM motor further includes a mounting assembly having at least three discrete legs disposed on a lower end of the body and extending outwardly from the body.

    Abstract: Electric motors and related methods employ a stator assembly as part of a housing assembly that reacts output shaft loads to a mounting base. An electric motor includes an output shaft, a rotor coupled to the output shaft, a first housing, a first bearing assembly coupled to the first housing, a second housing, a second bearing assembly coupled to the second housing, and a stator assembly. The stator assembly includes a structural stator core member and stator coils. The structural stator core member extends circumferentially around the output shaft.     Abstract: A transmission mechanism device includes a transmission mechanism including a hollow shaft, and a bearing supporting an outer face of the shaft. A holder holding the bearing is on the inner face of a housing of the transmission mechanism. The holder has a facing face facing an end of the shaft, a tubular portion holding the bearing and protruding in the axial direction radially from the facing face, and a rib inside the tubular portion and protruding in the axial direction from the facing face. The rib extends in a concave shape opening upward. A lower end of an inner face of the rib is below an upper end of an inner face of the shaft when viewed from the axial direction. At least one end of the rib in an extending direction faces an inner face of the tubular portion via a gap when viewed from the axial direction.

    Abstract: A submersible pump electrical motor has a bearing hub between adjacent rotor sections. The bearing hub has a hub outward facing sidewall and a hub inward facing hub sidewall through which the shaft extends. A collar having a collar inward facing sidewall is rigidly mounted to the hub outward facing sidewall. The collar has a collar outward facing sidewall spaced from stator sidewall by an annular clearance. A slit in the collar extends from the collar inward facing sidewall to the collar outward facing sidewall. An anti-rotation spring has a supporting portion inwardly biased against the hub outward facing sidewall and a locking portion protruding outward through the slit into engagement with the groove to prevent rotation of the hub and the collar.
