摘要: A small reactor with high heat-release performance is provided. A reactor 1 includes an assembly (10) and a case (4), the assembly (10) having a coil (2) and a magnetic core (3) at which the coil (2) is arranged, the case (4) housing the assembly (10). The case (4) includes a bottom plate (40) that contacts a fixing object when the reactor (1) is installed on the fixing object, a side wall (41) that is mounted on the bottom plate (40) with an adhesive and surrounds the assembly (10), and a junction layer (42) that fixes the coil (2) to an inner surface of the bottom plate (40). The bottom plate (40) is formed of a material with higher thermal conductivity than that of the side wall (41). The reactor (1) easily transfers heat of the coil (2) to the bottom plate (40) and hence has high heat-release performance because the reactor (1) includes the bottom plate (40) with the high thermal conductivity and the coil (2) is joined to the bottom plate (40) through the junction layer (42). Since the bottom plate (40) and the side wall (41) are integrated using the adhesive, the thicknesses of both the members (40, 41) can be decreased. Accordingly, the reactor (1) is small.

摘要: A motorcycle design that easily secures space for exchanging tires. A unit-swing type, rear wheel driving power unit is disposed on one side of a rear wheel in a transverse direction and has a swing fulcrum in front of a rear wheel axle, and a right and left pair of rear suspension units are disposed on right and left sides of the rear wheel. An installation height of the rear suspension unit on an opposite power unit side is higher than an installation height of the rear suspension unit on a power unit side, and an installation position of the rear suspension unit on the opposite power unit side in a width direction of the vehicle body relative to the rear wheel is more inside than an installation position of the rear suspension unit on the power unit side in the width direction of the vehicle body relative to the rear wheel.

摘要: A method of determining a calibration curve used in deciding the components of living organism by means of the least-squares method by using a plurality of measured data at different concentrations obtained by measuring reaction solutions of a plurality of standard substances having different concentrations. At least a single set of measured data Y(i) is weighted in a predetermined manner, the measured data Y(i) being obtained from the standard substance reaction solution at a specific concentration X(i) near a limit value used in deciding the living organism components. With the weighting, a calibration curve having a high precision at a portion near the limit value is realized resulting in a correct and highly reliable decision.

摘要: An apparatus and method for analyzing at least two analytical items in a sample solution in a single container, wherein a series of transparent containers supported on a rotatable disc pass over a sample-receiving position, a first reagent solution-adding position, a second reagent solution-adding position, an optical path of a photometer, a solution-discharging device and a washing device. In the sample-receiving position, a fixed volume of sample is introduced into one of the transparent containers. In the first reagent solution-adding position, the first reagent solution is introduced into the transparent container, whereby a reaction is allowed to proceed. Subsequently, the container is passed across an optical path, and absorbance of light by the reaction solution is measured, to provide first measurements. Thereafter, a second reagent solution is introduced into the transparent container at the second reagent solution-adding position, without removal of the first reaction solution, whereby a further reaction is allowed to proceed. Subsequently, the container is passed across an optical path, and absorbance of light by the resulting solution in the transparent container is measured, to provide second measurements. The first analytical item can be investigated from the first measurements, and the second analytical item can be investigated from differences between the first and second measurements.

摘要: An electronic timepiece includes a frequency supply for providing a relatively high frequency time base signal, a frequency converter responsive to the time base signal to provide a relatively low frequency time unit signal, and timekeeping means responsive to the time unit signal to provide current time information. The current time information is corrected and displayed. 摘要: An electronic timepiece includes a frequency supply for providing a relatively high frequency time base signal, a frequency converter responsive to the time base signal to provide a relatively low frequency time unit signal, timing signals, and a plurality of word pulses indicative of a plurality of data words representing time data concerning the current time and additional data concerning alarm time. A timekeeping register stores the time data and the additional data and provision is made for generating a carry signal in dependence on the time data. The information in the register is altered in response to the time unit signal and the carry signal to update the time data and provision is made to write in the additional data into the register. The coincidence between the current time and the alarm time is detected by an alarm unit which generates a coincidence signal indicative thereof. Display elements responsive to an output of the timekeeping register are operable to display the time data and the additional data.
