Abstract: Techniques are provided to enable quick previews of what a modified document would look like. In an implementation, a set of page images are stored. Each page image represents a page of a document, the page having been converted to a page image for a first version of the document to permit the document to be viewed in a viewer program. A command is received to modify the document. The requested modification may include, for example, reordering pages, deleting pages, or extracting pages. A preview is generated for a second version of the document. The preview reflects the modification and uses at least one page image from the set of page images created for the first version of the document. Reusing page images allows the preview to be generated very quickly.

Abstract: Among other things, one or more techniques and/or systems are provided for providing users with access to a route for travelling. A user, of a client device, may send a request for access to the route to a route planning service. The route may correspond to a starting location and an ending location. The route planning service may query a route database to identify an entry indicating that a restricted access road segment (e.g., a high occupancy vehicle lane, a shoulder lane, a bus lane, etc.) and/or a road segment (e.g., comprising a traffic light alteration capability) exists between the starting location and the ending location. Responsive to successfully authorizing the user for travelling the restricted access road segment and/or the road segment, the route, comprising the restricted access road segment and/or the road segment, may be provided to the client device.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method of generating and broadcasting telematics and/or image data is provided. Telematics and/or image data may be collected, with customer permission, in real-time by a mobile device (or a Telematics App running thereon) traveling within an originating vehicle. The telematics data may include acceleration, braking, speed, heading, and location data associated with the originating vehicle. The mobile device may generate an updated telematics data broadcast including up-to-date telematics data at least every few seconds; and then broadcast the updated telematics data broadcast at least every few seconds via wireless communication to another computing device to facilitate alerting another vehicle or driver of an abnormal traffic condition or event that the originating vehicle is experiencing. An amount that an insured uses or otherwise employs the telematics data-based risk mitigation or prevention functionality may be used with usage-based insurance, or to calculate or adjust insurance premiums or discounts.

Abstract: System, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to improving right-of-way determinations at an intersection. In one embodiment, a method includes acquire, in a lead vehicle that is a cloud leader of a micro-cloud, observations about the intersection for a set of vehicles including at least one remote vehicle. The set of vehicles are approaching the intersection. The remote vehicle and the lead vehicle are members of the micro-cloud. The method includes deriving an assignment of right-of-ways indicating an order about how the set of vehicles may proceed through the intersection. The method includes providing the assignment to at least the remote vehicle to control right-of-way at the intersection.

Abstract: Various aspects of a system and method for driving assistance along a path are disclosed herein. In accordance with an embodiment, a unique identifier is received from a communication device at an electronic control unit (ECU) of a first vehicle. The unique identifier is received when the first vehicle has reached a first location along a first portion of the path. A communication channel is established between the first vehicle and the communication device based on the received unique identifier. Data associated with a second portion of the path is received by the ECU from the communication device based on the established communication channel. Alert information associated with the second portion of the path is generated by the ECU based on the received data.

Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamically reprioritizing pick jobs in a fulfillment center are described herein. The example systems can be configured to periodically classify pick jobs in order to optimize throughput of the fulfillment center. The classifying can include determining an estimated completion time for pick jobs and identifying at-risk jobs that may complete after their associated due dates. The at-risk jobs can be assigned to autonomous vehicles based primarily on their associated due dates. Other pick jobs that are not at-risk can be assigned to autonomous vehicles based primarily on efficiency. The at-risk pick jobs can be assigned to autonomous vehicles before the other pick jobs.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for vehicles in traffic to simultaneously measure local traffic parameters and communicate the data to a planning vehicle in 5G and 6G. Each participating vehicle can measure, at a predetermined time, the angles of the other vehicles in view, and also the distances to the other vehicles using radar or lidar, for example. They then communicate the data to a planning vehicle. The planning vehicle “merges” or interconnects the various angle measurements to form a self-consistent traffic map of all vehicles in view of any of the participating vehicles, including non-participating vehicles. The planning vehicle then broadcasts the traffic map, or a listing of positions and wireless addresses of the vehicles, for all to use. The vehicles can then identify each other, and communicate with each other, to avoid collisions and facilitate the flow of traffic.
