摘要: A cured product of a resin composition according to the present invention includes at least silsesquioxane. When the average thermal expansion coefficient of the cured product at 30 to 200° C. is expressed as α1 [K−1], at least one of requirements α1/α2≥10 and (α1−α2)2×108≥0.4 is satisfied, where a reference value α2 is 350×10−6 [K−1] or less. In the cured product, an absorbance derived from a siloxane bond, an absorbance derived from a hydrocarbon group, and an absorbance derived from a hydroxy group are respectively expressed as Ia, Ib, and Ic, the absorbances being determined by attenuated total reflection using a Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer. In this case, requirements 0.09≤Ia/Ib≤3.0 and 0.04≤Ic/Ib≤1.0 are satisfied.

摘要: There are provided tissue repair laminates containing at least two biodegradable polyurethane foam layers and a polyurethane structural layer. The biodegradable polyurethane is derived from biodegradable polyols. The laminates resist shrinkage under in vivo conditions and possess desirable mechanical properties such as high tensile strength. The laminates find use in, for example, the repair of tissue or muscle wall defects.

摘要: A ventilated molded seat trim cover for a vehicle seat and a ventilated vehicle seat having a ventilated molded seat trim cover, comprising a stacked assembly of an upper textile layer, a first adhesive layer, an air permeable polyurethane cellular foam interlayer thermo-moldable at temperatures between about 104° C. and about 127° C., a second adhesive layer, a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) film, a third adhesive layer, and a scrim backing layer. The stacked assembly is compression molded in a 3-dimensional mold while at least a portion of the foam interlayer is heated to a temperature between about 104° C. and about 127° C. to form the ventilated molded seat trim cover. The TPU film prevents airflow passing through a bottom surface of the seat trim cover. Airflow in the foam interlayer can pass through the upper textile layer.

摘要: Provided are a polymeric article and a composite article capable of obtaining favorable texture with a high resilience by using thermoplastic elastomer. A composite article includes: a first member; and a second member having a plate-shaped portion and a plurality of protrusions protruding from the back surface of the plate-shaped portion and having protruding ends contacting the first member, and cushioning properties are imparted to the composite article by elastic deformation of the second member. The plate-shaped portion and the plurality of protrusions are integrally made of solid thermoplastic elastomer or slightly-foamed thermoplastic elastomer with an expansion ratio of 1.1 or less, the thermoplastic elastomer having an impact resilience modulus of 30 to 90% at 23° C. measured in accordance with JIS K6255, and a hysteresis loss rate measured at 23° C. by compressing and depressurizing the composite article at a speed of 60 mm/min is 28% or less.

摘要: A structural reinforcement for an article including a carrier (10) that includes: (i) a mass of polymeric material (12) having an outer surface; and (ii) at least one fibrous composite insert (14) or overlay (960) having an outer surface and including at least one elongated fiber arrangement (e.g., having a plurality of ordered fibers). The fibrous insert (14) or overlay (960) is envisioned to adjoin the mass of the polymeric material in a predetermined location for carrying a predetermined load that is subjected upon the predetermined location (thereby effectively providing localized reinforcement to that predetermined location). The fibrous insert (14) or overlay (960) and the mass of polymeric material (12) are of compatible materials, structures or both, for allowing the fibrous insert or overlay to be at least partially joined to the mass of the polymeric material. Disposed upon at least a portion of the carrier (10) may be a mass of activatable material (126). The fibrous insert (14) or overlay (960) may include a polymeric matrix.
