Abstract: The present invention relates to a polycarbonate resin composition having excellent optical characteristics and a molded product comprising same and, more specifically, to a polycarbonate resin composition and a molded product comprising the composition, the composition comprising: as a basic resin, a polycarbonate; and, as a plasticizer component, a polyalkylene glycol adduct of an anhydrous sugar alcohol, a biomass-derived material, wherein the composition has excellent optical characteristics and processability as well as enhanced mechanical characteristics, such as tensile strength, and heat resistance.

Abstract: Provided herein according to some embodiments is a dual cure additive manufacturing resin, comprising: (i) a light polymerizable component, (ii) a photoinitiator, (iii) a heat polymerizable component, and (iv) a non-reactive diluent, which resin is useful for the production of three-dimensional objects by additive manufacturing. Methods of using the same are also provided.

Abstract: Draw compounds and draw solutions comprising said draw compounds for use in forward osmosis solvent purification systems. Abstract: A vesicle incorporate a transmembrane protein, the vesicle forming material including a mixture of poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(propylene glycol)-block-poly(ethylene glycol) and polyetheramine. The vesicle can generally withstand elevated temperature without substantial shrinkage of the diameter, which in turn results in maintenance of the water permeability virtually unaffected. Pluronic based vesicles have a large content of amino groups available on the surface illustrated by the larger zeta potential values available for crosslinking in the polyamide layer by chemical reaction with trimesoyl chloride (TMC).
