摘要: Systems and methods of ceiling-only fire protection of an automated storage and retrieval system are provided. The system can include a plurality of fluid distribution devices disposed in a grid pattern beneath a ceiling and above the automated storage and retrieval system. The plurality of fluid distribution devices can include a frame body, seal assembly and actuator. The system can include a fluid distribution system including a network of pipes interconnecting the plurality of fluid distribution devices with a water supply. The system can include a plurality of detectors to monitor the automated storage and retrieval system. The system can include a controller coupled to the plurality of detectors to detect and locate a fire, and coupled to the plurality of fluid distribution devices to identify and control operation of a select number of the plurality of fluid distribution devices that define a discharge array above and about the fire.

摘要: An improved system detects an environmental anomaly in a shipping container and initiates a mediation response through a generated layered alert notification. The system includes sensor-based ID nodes associated with packages within the container, and a command node mounted to the container communicating with the ID nodes and an external transceiver on a vehicle transporting the container. The command node is programmed to detect sensor data from the ID nodes; compare the sensor data to package environmental thresholds in context data related to each ID node; detect the environmental anomaly when the comparison indicates an environmental condition for at least one package exceeds its environmental threshold; responsively generate a layered alert notification identifying a mediation recipient and mediation action, and establishing a mediation response priority based upon the comparison; and transmit the layered alert notification to the transceiver unit to initiate a mediation response related to the mediation action.

摘要: A fire protection system includes at least one gas detector, at least one sprinkler, and one or more processors. The at least one gas detector detects a gas outputted by at least one energy storage device and outputs a detection signal responsive to detecting the gas. The at least one sprinkler outputs fluid on the at least one energy storage device responsive to be set to an open state. The one or more processors receive the detection signal, determine that a fire condition is present responsive to the detection signal, and control operation of the at least one sprinkler responsive to determining the fire condition to be present.

摘要: A sprinkler system includes a fitting, at least one tube, at least one fluid distribution device, and an actuator. The fitting connects with at least one pipe, defines an opening, and includes a seal. The seal has a closed state in which the seal seals the opening and an open state in which the seal does not seal the opening to allow fluid flow from the at least one pipe through the opening. The at least one tube connects with the fitting on an opposite side of the seal from the at least one pipe. The fluid distribution device is connected with the at least one tube. The actuator receives a detection signal indicative of a trigger condition and causes the seal to change from the closed state to the open state to allow the fluid flow through the opening responsive to receiving the detection signal.

The water firefighting system includes a water firefighting pipe. The water firefighting pipe is arranged at a top part of an interior of the cabinet body and is provided with a water nozzle. The gas firefighting system includes a gas firefighting pipe. The gas firefighting pipe, like the water firefighting pipe, is arranged on the top part of an interior of the cabinet body. The gas firefighting pipe is configured to contain a firefighting fire extinguishing agent or transport the firefighting fire extinguishing agent. The gas firefighting pipe is provided with an air nozzle for ejecting firefighting gas generated by the firefighting fire extinguishing agent.

摘要: The present invention relates to a novel sprinkler device. The device is designed to prevent the spread of wildfires to residential areas. The device comprises a plurality of sprinkler nozzle heads secured to a pole component. Each sprinkler nozzle head comprises a built-in sensor that will detect the presence of a fire, automatically activating the sprinkler nozzle head to extinguish a fire. Further, each sprinkler nozzle head comprises a backup system in case of a power failure, or the sensor fails. Further, the sprinkler heads can comprise a solar-powered battery and a manual power switch.

摘要: A fire detection device and method therefor are able to provide automatic activation so as to extinguish a fire. The fire detection can be rapid and temperature-based. In one embodiment, a heat collector can be provided to enhance thermal responsiveness. Activation of the fire detection device can be electrically or mechanically induced to release an extinguishing agent at the fire. The activation can be protected such that it is durable and unaffected by vibrations.
