    摘要: A remote parameter monitoring system utilizes a series of half-wave rectifier diodes in combination with a unique overlapping wiring arrangement to provide for location-specific detection of a parameter condition existing at a plurality of spaced locations. In one embodiment of the invention, the system is used for monitoring cracks in helicopter rotor blades and indicating to the crew in the cockpit both the fact of a cracked blade and the specific blade which is cracked. In such embodiment, the system includes a three-phase alternating current transformer whose primary windings are supplied by the helicopter's three-phase alternating current generators and whose secondary windings make up part of the wiring loops between the cockpit and the rotor blades. By controlling currents flowing in opposite directions in the wiring loops, the system allows for blade-specific crack detection of up to six rotor blades by means of only three wires between the rotor blade assembly and the cockpit area.

    摘要: Control circuit system wherein low level signals are delivered through small (miniature) gauge control conductors to remote control circuit breakers to control connection of load devices to load bus through use of solid state circuitry. Such control may be used between the flight station of an aircraft and the various load centers remote therefrom, in an automobile or in an industrial or utility system. The circuitry is also responsive to faults in the load circuits, and current limiting warning lights (CLWL's) located in the power supply of the control conductors may limit current and indicate the status of faults in the control and/or remote power circuits. A large number of CLWL's for the different circuits may be arranged in a matrix at a control station and means with corresponding load identifying indicia are provided to facilitate changes and correlation of lighted CLWL's with respect to the controlled load switching device. The load switching devices may be associated in a plurality of priority groups and means provided to disconnect all the devices in a group simultaneously either manually or sequentially in reverse order of group priority upon increasing power system failures or in response to other control logic.

    摘要: Command words with address signals are transmitted periodically from a control room to field solenoid valves which are each provided with a single actuation circuit. The solenoid valves that are to be actuated in the field each correspond to the address of the transmitted command words which energize the coil of the corresponding solenoid valve. The actuation circuit inserts an address signal for that particular circuit with regard to current information flowing in the energized coil and sends it back to the control room as an acknowledge word. The control room previously predicts acknowledge words which will be sent back by the actuation circuits when the actuation circuits properly respond to the transmitted command words and the control room registers the predicted acknowledge words as reference words. The acknowledge word sent back by the actuation circuit is compared with the reference word and if an inconsistency exists a fault in the actuation circuit is indicated. The command words includes a control signal N to continuously energize the solenoid valve and a test signal for momentarily energizing the solenoid valve for test. These signals are transmitted from the control room alternately at predetermined intervals and the indication of the compared result of the acknowledge word and the reference word is inhibited during a predetermined time period after the alternation of the address.
