Abstract:
An embodiment of the system for publishing events of a telephony application to a client includes a call router that generates events from the telephony application and an event router that manages the publication of events generated by the call router and that manages the subscription to events by clients. The system can be used with a telephony application that interfaces with a telephony device and an application server.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a bandwidth-sharing, intelligent network switching system, wherein the system comprises a control processing unit, a network sharing user device, and a network user device. The control processing unit is connected to a third-party payment system, a location search module, a WiFi hotspot search module, bandwidth analysis module, and an authentication module. The control processing unit is further connected to the network sharing user device and the network user device. The network sharing user device shares network access with the network user device via the control processing unit, sets a price for bandwidth, and charges the network user device the price for the shared network access.
Abstract:
A method, system, and program for billing for service provided to destination device according to the calling plan of the individual receiving the call. An authenticated identity for a callee answering a call placed to a destination device is received at an intermediary device. The intermediary device then accesses a billing plan for the authenticated identity of the callee and loads the billing plan for specifying charges for the call, such that telephone service billed to the callee is accessible at multiple destination devices.
Abstract:
A method for implementing group intelligent service of a Mobile Virtual Private Network (MVPN) includes: configuring on a Service Management Point (SMP) a corresponding relationship between a group's number and a module number of the Service Control Point (SCP) on which the group is distributed, and configuring relevant data information of the group in the service database of each SCP on which the group is distributed; uniformly managing relevant data information of the group distributed on different SCP; performing the judging, the controlling and the billing for a call when a user triggers a service. A device for implementing group intelligent service of Mobile Virtual Private Network (MVPN) includes a configuration module, a management module and a service execution module.
Abstract:
To set up connections via interconnections between different networks (1, 2) (2, 3), in first networks (1) e.g. public fixed networks (first step), first information is received defining at least first parts of the connections within the first networks (1). In response, (second step) second information is sent to second networks (2) e.g. public mobile networks defining the charging control of at least the interconnections to be performed outside the first networks (1) and defining at least second parts of the connections. In response, (third step) the second parts of the connections are set up within the second networks (2). The connections comprise the first parts, the interconnections and the second parts. This way, “call back” calls can be set up without “normal” calls needing to precede these “call back” calls.

Abstract:
Methods, systems, and products are disclosed for routing a communication. An identifier of an origination point of the communication is received. A destination point associated with a destination of the communication is determined. The origination point and the destination point are analyzed to determine whether the communication may be entirely routed within a local service provider's geographic area.

Abstract:
A telecommunication method and system are described. A request in a telephony network is received for a communication connection between a caller and a call recipient. A call connect command is received from the caller. In response to the call connect command and before conventional routing to connect the communication, the caller is notified of at least one offering. The communication connection is routed between the caller and the call recipient after the caller is notified of the at least one offering.
Abstract:
A method and system for providing a caller-controlled demarcation service is described. An embodiment of the present invention is advantageously implemented as an advanced service in an intelligent telecommunications network. An embodiment of the present invention allows the user to specify an interval for a telephone communication. A telecommunication switch times the communication and when the interval expires, the switch either plays a tone to signal the expiration or disconnects the call. The switch may enforce the interval for calls originating or terminating at the subscriber's phone.
