    摘要: Command words with address signals are transmitted periodically from a control room to field solenoid valves which are each provided with a single actuation circuit. The solenoid valves that are to be actuated in the field each correspond to the address of the transmitted command words which energize the coil of the corresponding solenoid valve. The actuation circuit inserts an address signal for that particular circuit with regard to current information flowing in the energized coil and sends it back to the control room as an acknowledge word. The control room previously predicts acknowledge words which will be sent back by the actuation circuits when the actuation circuits properly respond to the transmitted command words and the control room registers the predicted acknowledge words as reference words. The acknowledge word sent back by the actuation circuit is compared with the reference word and if an inconsistency exists a fault in the actuation circuit is indicated. The command words includes a control signal N to continuously energize the solenoid valve and a test signal for momentarily energizing the solenoid valve for test. These signals are transmitted from the control room alternately at predetermined intervals and the indication of the compared result of the acknowledge word and the reference word is inhibited during a predetermined time period after the alternation of the address.

    摘要: A multi-terminal communication apparatus controller is provided which allows information signals on a transmission medium to be replaced with new information signals at each terminal. Branch information signals are obtained from the main transmission medium by coupling without destroying or interrupting the propagation of the information signals on the transmission medium. These branch information signals are converted into terminal signals compatible with the terminal. New information signals are coupled from the terminal to a send branch line where they are converted into send information signals which are coupled onto the transmission medium. The branch information signals are phase inverted when the new information signals are provided. These phase inverted signals are applied to the transmission line so as to cancel the corresponding information signals on the transmission medium. The send information signals are coupled onto the transmission medium in the space left by the cancelled information signals.

    摘要: A remote station for a loop communication system includes a point module which is specifically related to an on-off load control or the like. The point module is coupled to the loop system through frame handling logic means in common with other similar or different point modules by a common input bus means, with a unique binary address. An address decoder actuates a latch to produce an enable signal which activates a command latch and decoding circuit. A binary command is received from the message frame and is placed in registers. A command control available signal generated by the frame handling logic unit conjointly with the enable sets the register and command signal decoder and establishes a corresponding unique output at a start line, a stop line, status read line and an initialize line. A load select and drive circuit receives coded information which is transferred as a result of a data available signal in combination with the enable means and an initiate signal of the command circuit means to transmit the command signal to one or more loads. The select circuit includes a delayed pulse signal to actuate a circuit isolating a relay unit to separate the digital logic circuitry from the load operating circuits. The load operating status is monitored by detecting of the last actuated contact status and selectively fed back into the loop for transmittal to the loop controller by generating of a request for a message frame. The command signal would be such as to enable the read signal line rather than a start-stop line and provide for transfer of the status information.
