摘要: An electronic voting system is described that utilizes printed vote records (PVRs) in which a voter's vote selections are recorded in voter readable characters. Optical character recognition (OCR) techniques may then be utilized to scan the PVR to record the voter's selections. The OCR data is then utilized to generate the cast vote record. Thus, the electronic voting system directly interprets the voter selections from the PVR just as the voter sees the data. In this manner “what you see is what you get” printed vote record data is provided for a voter's viewing and that same data is used to generate the cast vote record.

摘要: A medium processing device includes a conveying mechanism, an RFID device, and a processor. The processor controls the RFID device to perform a write process on first and second RFID tags of at least one medium conveyed by the conveying mechanism when the first and second RFID tags are moved to a write position along a conveyance path of the at least one medium, and a read process on the first and second RFID tags after the at least one medium is further conveyed along the conveyance path of the at least one medium by the conveying mechanism. The RFID device includes an antenna by which the RFID device communicates with the RFID tags and is configured to set a communication range of the antenna to a first communication range during the write process and to a second communication range wider than the first communication range during the read process.

摘要: The embodiments herein relate to surveillance of objects and, more particularly, to efficient detection and tracking of objects. A method disclosed herein includes detecting at least one object in the physical store, on receiving media from a plurality of media acquisition devices positioned in the physical store. The method further includes tracking the at least one object in the physical store by projecting input data points of each media acquisition device onto a groundplot, clustering the input data points into a single cluster, and assigning a tracking identifier (ID) to a centroid of the single cluster, wherein the centroid depicts the at least one object.

摘要: The present application relates to a data transmission method for a Bluetooth card reader and an electronic device. The method includes: a CCID driver determines communication rate information corresponding to the Bluetooth card reader based on type information corresponding to the Bluetooth card reader; the CCID driver determines specific communication rate information based on card information and the communication rate information; the CCID driver carries the specific communication rate information in a communication rate confirming request and forwards, via the Bluetooth service program, the communication rate confirming request to the Bluetooth card reader for verification, where the Bluetooth card reader is connected with the Bluetooth service program via Bluetooth; and the CCID driver instructs, based on a communication rate acknowledgement response returned by the Bluetooth card reader, the Bluetooth card reader to transmit, with the specific communication rate information confirmed through the communication rate acknowledgement response, data to be transmitted.

摘要: Access control electronics for wireless locks comprise one or more battery operated radios that receive access control codes. The wireless accessed locks locate the electronic components, circuits, sensors and antennas and many of the lock components away from the container being secured and closer to the operator/user. The disclosed access control electronics combine a proximity detection circuit comprising sensor pads and a capacitive sensing circuit and one or more short-range radio frequency antennas for reading RFID devices. The proximity sensor pads are in close proximity with the antennas, without the antennas interfering with the proximity sensing process, and the sensor pads to not attenuate the signals between the RFID devices and the antennas after the RFID devices are detected.

摘要: A tag communication device includes a communication device and one or more control processors configured to cause the communication device to transmit a first command for notifying selection of a wireless tag including an identification code including a mask pattern that is a part of the common portion of identification codes. The one or more control processors are configured to cause the communication device to transmit a second command for requesting a response to the selected wireless tag and to cause the communication device to transmit a third command for requesting rewriting to the wireless tag that transmits data in response to receiving the data transmitted from one wireless tag. The one or more control processors are configured to cause a repeat of transmission of the second command if a third command is transmitted until the third commands are transmitted to each of a predetermined number of the wireless tags.
