摘要: A method of and wall sheet for building up a silo with lining and a method of manufacturing wall sheets for such a silo. The wall sheets are pre-formed wall sheets, comprising a base sheet and a sheet of lining material, bonded thereto in a slightly staggered manner. The lining material covers a number of bolt holes of the base sheet and already fitted in the covered bolt holes are fastening means, secured against rotation and also covered by the lining material. After the wall sheet has been mounted, free edge strips of the layer of lining material fall over uncovered edge zones of adjacent wall sheets. Connecting sheets of lining material are welded together along the edges, and, if necessary, the overlapping strips are bonded to the subjacent wall sheets.

摘要: A sheet metal container (1) used as a retainable or nonretainable container for transport and storage of liquids has a fill neck (3) which can be sealed with a cap (4) and another neck (5) in the bottom area for connecting a discharge and flushing cock, and an external lattice jacket (6) of metal. A pallet (9) is formed as a flat bottom pan (10) from sheet for form-fittingly accommodating the sheet metal container (1) which is equipped with a drainage bottom. The sheet metal container (1) is welded together from a jacket (11), a bottom part (12) and a cover (13). The jacket (11), bottom part (12) and cover (13) of the container (1) are produced with a double wall of composite construction consisting of a thin inner sheet of corrosion-proof special steel and an outer sheet of normal steel with a thickness greater than that of the inner sheet. It is possible to produce the container (1) of clad sheet metal with a thin inner layer of special steel and a thicker outer layer of normal steel.

摘要: A test cell (10) for containing equipment (12) subject to pressure testing comprises a plurality of metal plate wall panels (14) and a mesh roof panel (16) formed from mesh strands (26) of a high strength material. Each wall panel has a lapped connection (18) with an adjacent wall panel. The mesh panel (16) may be formed from a ballistic fabric, and the mesh strands (26) may be wire, rope and braid of steel, metal, plastic, natural or composite fiber, or a combination thereof. In the event of a pressure failure of the equipment (12) under test, the roof panel (16) captures fragments of the equipment while allowing the dissipation of pressure shock waves through the apertures (28) in the mesh. The lapped connections (18) between wall panels (14) result in increased friction between adjacent wall panels (14) and thus an increase in the strength of the connection when subject to pressure shock waves.
