    摘要: The basin cover having evenly-spaced covering elements mounted to shelf angles along the sides of the basin. These shelf angles are retained by anchor bolts to the inside edge of the rim of the basin. Flat tabs are adjustably spaced apart along the shelf angles and respectively overlap unevenly-spaced anchor retention areas of the basin. The flange portion of the shelf angles extend in a same plane as a walkway along the rim of the basin for widening this walkway. The new cover can be installed to basins of different conditions without major custom work.

    摘要: The invention relates to modular elements for building a storage basin, to a network obtained by assembling a plurality of modular elements, to a supporting structure, to a storage basin and to a process for obtaining a storage basin. The modular element according to the invention is provided in the interior with a network element constituted by main half joints (10), secondary half joints (11) and tertiary half joints (10), vertical channels (8,15), oblique channels (9), compartments (18), and is provided with joint elements (16,17). The network comprises horizontal annular channels and main, secondary and tertiary joints connected by vertical and oblique channels. The storage basin comprises a supporting structure at the interior of an insulating structure obtained by assembling the modular elements. The process for obtaining a storage basin comprises the assemblage of the modular elements and casting the hardening material in the network obtained by assembling the modular elements, forming the supporting structure.

    摘要: A storage tank that stores sulphur with zero emissions uses reinforced EPS panels and an impermeable bottom. The reinforced EPS panels are reinforced with networks of horizontal and/or vertical galvanized or stainless steel wires that are interconnected by galvanized or stainless steel orthogonal wires. Both inner and outer walls of the reinforced EPS panels are plastered before sulphur is placed in the storage tank. Larger storage tanks may be assembled by vertically interconnecting one or more reinforced EPS panels. This interconnection is achieved by corrugating the reinforced EPS panels, or forming their edges in a Greek-key shape. The Greek-key shape prevents sulphur from escaping the storage tank.

    摘要: A precast panel for building reinforced concrete walls has a metal liner that forms a front surface of the panel. A concrete mass is disposed behind the liner. The panel has reinforcement structure within the concrete mass that can be used to provide continuity of reinforcement between adjacent panels. Edges on the concrete mass are recessed, facilitating the connection of a splice end on a reinforcing bar with a splice end on an adjacent panel. The liner, reinforcement structure, and concrete mass form a composite steel-concrete structure.
