    摘要: An underground silo for storing emergency supplies includes a cylindrical body portion having a closed bottom and side walls and an open top with a flange around the top, a convex cover configured for mating with said open top and having a flange for mating with the flange of the body portion, and a hatch in the cover for accessing stored supplies. The body portion are preferably made of seamless woven fiberglass. The cover includes a lip extending downwardly from the flange for encircling the flange of the body portion. A sealant is provided between the flanges of the cover and body portion to facilitate a fluid tight seal. By placing the silo underground the lives of emergency supplies are extending due to thermal insulation of the underground location.

The apparatus is importantly bi-inflatable, whereby the reversible air pump air delivery and removal is via a Y with valve that provides for filling and emptying the spine and straight supports and also the structure interior separately or cumulatively. This hastens filling and ensures proper filling of the spine and straight supports without potential kinking or delays. The floor is importantly reinforced with bi-directional straps and is comprised of heavier material than are the above moisture and material proof components.

    摘要: Process and apparatus for the construction of improved tank structures employing a pump metering and delivery system which accurately meters, mixes and evenly sprays composite materials to form the walls of tanks or containment vessels. Such systems have specific application to the construction of walls of prestressed tanks formed by inflating a membrane and applying rigidifying material outwardly of said membrane and then prestressing the walls by circumferentially wrapping prestressing material around the same. Promoters, catalyst, and other chemicals are used to create composite walls, each feeding into individual pump systems comprised of at least two hydraulic cylinders connected to supply cylinders which are coordinated so that their strokes are controlled to arrive at a desired flow. The flow is then channeled through a mixer which mixes the material for spraying through a nozzle. The flow from the nozzle can also be intermixed with chopped glass from a chopper system or with granular materials. Both the glass chopper system or the granular material feed system and the movement of the hydraulic system is controlled by servo units which can be controlled to the desired volume of spray. The spray unit is moveably located on the tower which can ride around the tank as well as position itself vertically allowing for the continous spraying of the walls of the tank. A computer can be used to synchronize the pumping rates, the chopper rates and for other considerations. The computer can also be used to monitor and store the output of the system.

    摘要: A unique storage structure is described for drying grain as it is stored without movement of the grain and without forcing heated air through the grain. The storage structure includes a vertical tubular stack extending between the floor and the roof. A plurality of perforated tubes in close proximity to each other extend through the grain at an inclined angle and communicate with the vertical stack. Air from outside the structure flows upwardly through the tubes and out through the stack. A fan may be included at the top of the vertical stack to assist in drawing air upwardly through the tubes and the stack.

In one aspect, a fall prevention system for a ladder may have an anchor plate coupled to a roof. In another aspect, the fall prevention system for the ladder may have an anchor bar coupled to at least a portion of the ladder. A rope is coupled at one end to the anchor plate or bar and at the other end to at least one rung of the ladder using a fastener. A rope grab is slidably coupled to the rope between the anchor plate or bar and the fastener.
