Abstract:
A ring-wing floating platform is disclosed. The ring-wing floating platform includes a floating hull, a top of the floating hull being above a sea surface and its geometry at a water plane is centrally symmetric, a ring-wing surrounding a perimeter of a bottom of the floating hull with a horizontal projection of concentric annular geometries, a positioning system located at the bottom of the floating hull, and a topsides located above the floating hull and connected to the floating hull by deck legs or installed directly on the top of the floating hull. The axes of the ring-wing and the floating hull are collinear, and their bottoms are in a same horizontal plane. The ring-wing and the floating hull are connected together as a unitary structure by multiple connecting components with an annular gap in-between.
Abstract:
A modular caisson installation demountably installed at a preselected water site. The modular caisson installation includes a plurality of caissons having tops and bottoms and being individually demountably installed in a predetermined configuration at a preselected water site with the caisson bottoms removably seated on a bed at the preselected water site. The caissons being constructed of one or more floatable sections each being fluid trimmable and fluid ballastable and having means for trimming and ballasting the section with fluid to effect controlled lowering and positioning thereof during formation of the installation and controlled raising and removal thereof by floatation to enable demounting of the installation.
Abstract:
Proposed is a construction method for an underwater concrete block structure. The concrete block structure is formed by stacking a plurality of concrete blocks on a foundation concrete block structure by using a guide pipe, and a concrete column is formed by, before removing the guide pipe, inserting a concrete column forming set such as a waterproof membrane through the inside of the guide pipe, so that the waterproof membrane can be inserted conveniently and safely and the construction speed of the concrete block structure can be further improved.
Abstract:
A constructing method of an underwater concrete block structure, includes: a first concrete block fabrication step, a guide pole installation step, a first concrete block installation step, a second concrete block fabrication step, a second concrete block installation step, a drainage step, a guide pole removal step, and a concrete column formation step. A concrete column and a first concrete block is firmly coupled to each other via a column rebar assembly.
Abstract:
A caisson for marine works particularly intended for use in vertical dikes which is formed by a plurality of segments (1) meant for being joined co-laterally therebetween by joining means to form a ground slab, wherein the segments (1) comprise an internal sector (2), lateral sectors (3) and an external sector (4), where said external sector (4) incorporates coupling elements; and by a series of voussoirs (5) meant for being disposed co-laterally therebetween and on the ground slab to form a surface of revolution, having an upper side (6), lateral sides (7) with interlocking means for interlocking the voussoirs (5) therebetween and a lower side (8) meant for being inserted in the segment (1) coupling elements. All of the caisson's elements are manufactured from fibre-reinforced polymer materials.
Abstract:
Apparatus for constructing an island in a body of water including a plurality of caissons and means for connecting the caissons in an end-to-end configuration to form a ring. Once the caissons have been connected together to form a ring and ballasted to set the caissons upon the bottom of the body of water, sufficient fill material is placed inside the ring of caissons to construct an island in the body of water.
Abstract:
A joint for under-water structures comprising a fixed retaining plate having a projected line extended along the periphery of the end surface of an adjacent under-water structure, onto said end surface thereby fixing the gasket made of elastic material such as rubber onto said retaining plate in such a manner that the middle portion of the end surface of said gasket is against the projected line of said retaining plate; and presses the central projected line and projected lines on both sides formed at the end portion of said gasket onto the end surface of the other adjacent under-water structure.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of constructing an underwater concrete block structure, including: fabricating a plurality of concrete blocks having a vertical hole extending in the vertical direction; forming a foundation concrete block structure by installing the concrete block on the seafloor; vertically installing at least one guide pole in the foundation concrete block structure; forming a concrete block stack by repeating a process of positioning the concrete block to be installed above the surface of the water; and forming a main concrete column for binding the plurality of concrete blocks.

Abstract:
This application discloses a new type of suction leg, an offshore caisson, a sit-on-bottom supporting platform. The suction leg includes a sealing long pile, this sealing long pile including a tubular pipe and a top head connected tightly to the tubular pipe to form cylindrical integral structure with sealing top and opening bottom. The top head has at least one opening to be able to open or close. The sealing long pile can be penetrated into the seabed by a gravity penetration method or/and a suction pile penetration method, or pulled out from the seabed by a buoyancy uplift method or/and a suction pile uplift method.
