摘要: A pile driving method for driving a pile, e.g. a hollow and open ended pile, e.g. a large diameter pile having an outer diameter of at least 5 meters, e.g. a monopile of an offshore wind turbine, into the soil, e.g. into the seabed. Use is made of a pile driving system which comprises a drive head member that is configured to engage the pile, and a solid mass drop weight assembly comprising a support structure and comprising solid drop weight elements supported by said support structure, preferably solid steel drop weight elements being composed of steel elements, e.g. stackable steel elements, which drop weight elements have a total mass of at least 100 tonnes, e.g. more than 500 tonnes. e.g. more than 1000 tonnes, e.g. more than 2000 tonnes, which drop weight assembly is vertically mobile relative to, e.g. above, the drive head member. Further use is made of a lift system that is configured to bring the drop weight assembly into an initial height position relative to the drive head, and a quick release system adapted to effect quick release of the lift system.

摘要: A post sleeve provides a substantially permanent base for supporting a post for a fence or sign, and from which one post can be removed and replaced with another post. The sleeve includes a concrete body that is poured on site, using a sleeve core prepositioned in the post hole, and around which wet concrete is poured. After the concrete is cured, the core is removed, leaving a post sleeve cavity configured to receive a post. The core can be rigid, or can include a flexible shell and stiffener. A preformed post sleeve top can be attached to the sleeve core and positioned therewith in the post hole, to become a permanent part of the post sleeve, once the concrete cures. A drain is attached to the core, and remains in the sleeve when the core is removed, and can be a percolation chamber, or passage extending below the sleeve.

摘要: A gravity based foundation for an offshore installation includes a caisson of concrete and a hollow shaft. The caisson has a bottom slab, a roof and a side wall extending between the bottom slab and the roof. The roof having a passage for the shaft into the caisson. The shaft support has embedded tensioning bars vertically projecting from the upper side of the shaft support. The shaft is mounted on the shaft support by the tensioning bars. A method of manufacturing includes providing a concrete bottom slab, arranging a full-length formwork onto the bottom slab, arranging a slip formwork onto the bottom slab, providing the tensioning bars and mounting the tensioning bars in a fixed position to the full-length formwork, and concrete pouring of the sidewall and shaft support while raising the slip formwork.

摘要: A method of forming a wind turbine foundation includes providing an anchor cage in an excavation pit, the anchor cage including an upper flange, a lower flange, and a plurality of anchor bolts extending therebetween. A first cementitious material is directed into the excavation pit so that the anchor cage becomes at least partially embedded in the material, which is allowed to cure to form a rigid body. A connecting element is selectively engaged with the upper flange and an actuating element is positioned in operative relation with the connecting element, the connecting and actuating elements positioned in non-contact relation with the anchor bolts. The actuating element is actuated relative to the connecting element to raise the upper flange from the rigid body into a leveled position. A second cementitious material is directed into a space beneath the raised upper flange and is allowed to cure to form a support layer.

A pile holding system is mounted to the hull of a vessel, e.g. on deck (2) of a vessel, which pile holding system is configured to hold the pile in an upright orientation at a pile installation location at least whilst suspended from a crane by means of one or more winch driven cables, e.g. for installation of a pile adapted to support an offshore wind turbine, the pile holding system comprises a pile holding tool (40). The pile holding tool (40) further comprises a damping system including at least one damping device (45) that is mounted to the base structure (42) and is configured to, in use, engage on the pile suspended from the crane at a location that is vertically spaced from the circumferential zone that is engaged by the plurality of pile engaging positioning devices (43) of the pile holding tool, and wherein the at least one damping device (45) is configured to dampen pendulum motion of the pile suspended from the crane.

摘要: A wind turbine foundation comprising a concrete support slab having a horizontal rebar grid therein, a concrete pedestal integral with the support slab and having vertical post tensioning elements therein and a plurality of concrete ribs on top of and integral with the support slab and integral with the pedestal, the ribs having rebar therein and extend outwardly from the pedestal, the pedestal, slab and ribs are connected to each other to form a monolithic foundation. The foundation design reduces the weight and volume of materials used, reduces cost, and improves heat dissipation conditions during construction by having a small ratio of concrete mass to surface area thus eliminating the risk of thermal cracking due to heat of hydration.

摘要: A portal frame platform comprises at least three elongate tubular legs extending vertically downward from a top above the waterline to the seabed without horizontal or diagonal bracing members in-between, and a horizontal deck with at least three circular sleeves concentrically coupled to the top of the legs supporting a wind turbine in an in-service configuration. The portal frame platform supporting the wind turbine has an installation configuration with two barges connected to opposite sides of the deck, and the legs extending vertically upward from a bottom above the waterline through the circular sleeves. A construction method includes twelve-steps for quayside assembling, sea-towing and self-installing the portal frame platform with the wind turbine and foundation piles wherein the portable frame platform is converted from the installation configuration to the in-service configuration by lowering the legs through the circular sleeves using wire and winch systems on the two barges.

摘要: A post stabilization system which uses components which allow for both pushing and pulling forces to be applied to a workpiece in situ. The system uses the ground as an anchor point to stabilize a workpiece being installed. A force application member is connected to an anchoring device at one end. The opposing end of the force application member is an abutment member for applying a stabilizing force to a pole or other vertically oriented workpiece. An adjustment/tensioning member is applied between the anchoring device and the abutment member to allow for adjusting the angle of the workpiece by applying either pushing or pulling forces to the workpiece.
