摘要: A tank includes a liner including an inner shell; and a reinforcing layer covering an outer surface of the liner; wherein the reinforcing layer is formed by continuously winding resin-impregnated fiber bundles around the liner, the reinforcing layer includes a hoop layer placed in a side of the liner, and a helical layer, gaps are formed between adjacent bundles of the resin-impregnated fiber bundles wound in the hoop layer, there is at least one site where the resin-impregnated fiber bundles are wound without forming a gap between adjacent bundles in the helical layer, and resin in the resin-impregnated fiber bundles has a resin toughness value of not less than 1.0 MPa·m0.5.

摘要: A fiber winding device includes a spool assembly having a plurality of bobbins provided around a spiral wire in a circumferential direction to form a spool surface, a guide ring provided at a front part of the center of the spool assembly in a direction oblique to the spool surface, and a wire transfer unit for transferring the spiral wire to pass through the guide ring. The spiral wire is disposed to perpendicularly pass through the center of the guide ring. The spool assembly is disposed in a direction oblique to the wire, and fibers from the plurality of bobbins are wound on the spiral wire along the guide ring. In addition, by sequentially arranging a plurality of fiber winding devices along the spiral wire, fibers in multiple layers can be wound on one spiral wire sequentially and continuously.

摘要: A composite shaft or rod formed by filament winding. The composite shaft is a solid shaft and the filament winding does not involve a mandrel. A filament core can be suspended between rotatable spindles and the filament materials can be laid directly onto the filament spindle, without any mandrel. A plurality of payout eyes can be used to simultaneously lay filament materials onto the filament core. A bridge plug can be formed with the solid composite shaft located within the bridge plug shell of the bridge plug.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a high-pressure composite pressure vessel for high-pressure being at or above 70 bar (1000 PSI or 7 MPa) includes providing an expandable core vessel defining a hoop section between end domes. An aligned discontinuous fiber composite material is wrapped over the expandable core vessel aligning with a plurality of load paths present in the expandable core vessel being over the hoop section and end domes. The aligned discontinuous fiber composite material has fibers in a prepreg tape that are at least 5 mm in length to 100 mm in length or less. Next, a continuous fiber-reinforced composite is wrapped over the aligned discontinuous fiber-reinforced composite along the hoop section and not wrapped along the end domes. The expandable core vessel may be pressurized and heated to consolidate the composite overwrap. Finally, the vessel is cooled under pressure resulting in the high-pressure composite pressure vessel.
