Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods related to a venting unit for a wall of a building structure are described herein. The venting unit may include a frame defining an airway, a filter arranged to filter air passing through the airway, a platen operable to cover the airway, and an actuator system coupled to the platen and the frame, the actuator system operable to angulate the platen at a first angle to preferentially direct air through the airway from a first direction and to angulate the platen at a second angle different than the first angle to preferentially direct air through the airway from a second direction.

In the conditioning ventilation system 1, each of a plurality of rooms in a building is provided with an air-intake portion 16 and an exhaust means 19, the air-intake portions 16 are provided with a plurality of air blowing sections 13 which send wind through a plurality of ducts 17, a return air path which joins up from a plurality of the exhaust means 19 and returns to the air blowing sections 13 is provided, indoor air is circulated in the building by the air blowing sections 13, an outdoor air introduction path having an opening/closing mechanism is connected to the return air path, each of the plurality of rooms is provided with an exhaust means 26 directing to outdoor and having an opening/closing mechanism 27, outdoor air and indoor air are circulated in the building and, in this state, switching operation can be carried out to discharge air to outdoor independently in the plurality of rooms, energy saving and comfortable space having uniform temperature and excellent air quality is normally realized, and when harmful material flows in or is generated, the harmful material is prevented from being dispersed to another room while swiftly discharging the harmful material, and heat and air quality of return air are effectively utilized.

Abstract: A ceiling ventilation hood and fire protection system includes a ceiling ventilation hood, the ceiling ventilation hood defining an upper plane and a lower plane with a filter disposed between the upper and lower planes, and at least two nozzles each having an outlet defining a discharge axis with the outlet disposed in the ceiling ventilation hood between the upper and lower planes to provide overlapping protection of a hazard zone. Each of the nozzles define a spray pattern to effectively address a fire within the hazard zone independent of airflow through the filter. The outlets of the at least two nozzles are positioned at least 54 inches above the hazard zone.

Abstract: A ventilation element attachable to a lower portion of a sectional garage door for enabling a ventilation condition of the garage door in a partially open position. The ventilation element provides a peripheral frame dimensioned and shaped to mimic a lower section of the sectional garage door. The peripheral frame enables a plurality of filters to be removably nested therein. The peripheral frame is movably attached to the interior surface of the garage door by a plurality of travel bars fixed thereto; a complementary number of grip brackets are attached to the peripheral frame so that the peripheral frame is moveable between a retracted position and an extended position disposing the peripheral frame below a bottom elevation of the garage door so that when the garage door is in the partially open position, the peripheral frame and nested filters established a ventilation barrier between the garage door and the driveway.

A fan module is situated to cause air flow into the housing through the inlet, through the housing, and out of the housing through the outlet. The air flow through the housing includes air flow along the at least one pathway in at least a first direction. An air purifier is situated within the housing and configured to purify air that flows along the at least one pathway before the air exits the housing through the outlet.
