Abstract: A self-cleaning control method for an air conditioner and a device and a computer readable storage medium associated with the method are provided. According to the method, in response to the air conditioner entering a self-cleaning mode, the air conditioner is controlled to perform a cooling operation. During the cooling operation, a high-pressure-side pressure of an exhaust port of a compressor is acquired and a duration of the cooling operation is recorded. Based on the high-pressure-side pressure and the duration, the air conditioner is controlled to switch to perform a heating operation. During the heating operation, a temperature at a bottom of an outdoor heat exchanger is acquired and a duration of the heating operation is recorded. Based on the temperature and the duration, the air conditioner is controlled to exit the self-cleaning mode.

Abstract: Some embodiments of the present disclosure provide an air conditioner and a control method thereof. The air conditioner includes an outdoor unit, an indoor unit, a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, and a controller. The temperature sensor is configured to detect a first indoor temperature and a second indoor temperature. The humidity sensor is configured to detect a first indoor humidity and a second indoor humidity. The controller is configured to control the air conditioner to operate in a reheat dehumidification mode if it is determined that a first preset condition is satisfied, control the air conditioner to operate in a cooling mode if it is determined that the first preset condition is not satisfied, and control the air conditioner to enter a shutdown state if it is determined that one of a second preset condition and a third preset condition is satisfied.

In the simultaneous heating and defrosting operation mode, the controller controls a compressor, a pressure reducing device, and a defrosting refrigerant pressure-reducing device such that control amounts of the compressor, the pressure reducing device, and the defrosting refrigerant pressure-reducing device reach respective normal-time control target values that are set based on an air-conditioning load state and an operation state.

Abstract: A controller configured to selectively set a reversible heat pump assembly (100) in either a heating mode or in a cooling mode is presented. The controller comprising a control circuit (44) configured to: for a time period, determine, using a demand determining function (50), a heating demand for heat from one or more local heating circuits (140) connected to the reversible heat pump assembly (100) and a cooling demand for cold from one or more local cooling circuits (140) connected to the reversible heat pump assembly (100); generate, using a control function (52), a control signal indicative of if the reversible heat pump assembly (100) is to be set in either the heating mode or in the cooling mode, wherein the control function is configured to use the heating demand and the cooling demand as input data; and send, using a transmission function (54), the control signal to a heat pump (110) of the reversible heat pump assembly (100). Also a method for controlling the reversible heat pump assembly (100) is presented.

Abstract: A system and method for cooling a building using cool fresh outside air is disclosed. When the integrated thermostat is operating during a heating period, the integrated thermostat operates a remote air conditioning unit, such as a furnace, an HVAC unit, an electric baseboard heater, or a heat pump, to heat air provided to the building interior. When the integrated thermostat is operating during a cooling period or a fresh air cooling period, the integrated thermostat compares the indoor air temperature with the temperature of the outdoor fresh air. The integrated thermostat operates a remote fan, such as a whole-house exhaust fan, to draw the cooler fresh air into the building interior in response to the outdoor air temperature being less than the indoor air temperature and/or in response to the indoor temperature being greater than a fresh air cooling set point stored in the memory.

Abstract: A network of wireless remote climate sensors in a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system permits the creation of personalized microclimates within an enclosed space. In addition to collecting temperature and humidity data, the wireless remote climate sensors can detect whether the enclosed space is occupied by a human. Human detection is made possible by optional cameras, microphones, and gas sensors on the wireless remote climate sensors. As the human moves throughout the enclosed space, the HVAC system is able to track the human's movement using the wireless remote climate sensors. The HVAC system may adjust airflow to different portions of the enclosed space based on the human's location. The result is an efficient use of system resources to keep users at their ideal temperature.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a temperature control device. In one exemplary embodiment, a temperature control system includes a heating unit, a cooling unit, a temperature detection unit, and a temperature control unit. The temperature control unit has a user interface for accepting a user input for a first temperature and a user input for a second temperature with the first temperature being lower than the second temperature. When the temperature detection unit detects a current temperature outside a range between the first and second temperature, the temperature control unit activates either the heating unit or the cooling unit until the temperature detection unit detects a temperature between the first temperature and second temperature.

Abstract: A wireless thermostat includes a display configured to present an operating condition of the wireless thermostat and an adjustment selector to allow for manual adjustment of the operating condition. The wireless thermostat includes a communication module configured to communicate with at least one mobile device and allow for remote adjustment of the operating condition. The wireless thermostat includes a sensor for detecting a presence in proximity to the thermostat of at least one user and generating a presence signal in response to the detected user presence. The wireless thermostat includes a processor configured to implement changes in the operating condition in response to the manual adjustment at the selector and the remote adjustment at the mobile device. The processor also communicates with the sensor to receive the presence signal and transition the display between an awake state and a sleep state in response to the presence signal.
