Abstract: A sensor in a building HVAC system includes a transducer configured to measure a variable in the building HVAC system and to generate a sensor reading indicating a value of the measured variable. The sensor includes a communications interface configured to provide the sensor reading to a control device in the building HVAC system and a near field communication (NFC) circuit separate from the communications interface. The NFC circuit is configured to facilitate bidirectional NFC data communications between the sensor and a mobile device. The sensor includes a processing circuit having a processor and memory. The processing circuit is configured to wirelessly transmit data stored in the memory of the sensor to the mobile device via the NFC circuit, wirelessly receive data from the mobile device via the NFC circuit, and store the data received from the mobile device in the memory of the sensor.

Abstract: An air-conditioning system includes a plurality of air-conditioning apparatuses each including an outdoor unit, an indoor unit, and a remote controller and a transmission line via which the plurality of air-conditioning apparatuses are connected to each other. Each of the outdoor units includes a communication unit configured to transmit and receive a signal and a repeater configured to relay a signal of a set frequency. In a case where a set frequency with which the repeater of one air-conditioning apparatus of the plurality of air-conditioning apparatuses is compatible and a set frequency with which the repeater of the other air-conditioning apparatus of the plurality of air-conditioning apparatuses is compatible match, the remote controller of the one air-conditioning apparatus and the indoor unit of the other air-conditioning apparatus is configured to perform communication by use of a signal of the set frequency thus matching.

Abstract: An air conditioner includes an outdoor unit, a plurality of mode change devices including at least one mode changer including a branch duct and a changing valve, and configured to receive a control signal from the outdoor unit to control an operation of the at least one mode changer. A plurality of indoor units are connected to the outdoor unit or the plurality of mode change devices. The outdoor unit may determine an operation mode to operate the plurality of mode change devices a plurality of times. Each of the plurality of indoor units may detect a temperature change of an indoor heat exchanger in response to the operation of the mode change devices, to determine the number of connected mode changers and a connectable mode changer candidate group based on the temperature change of the indoor heat exchanger.

Abstract: An air conditioner includes an adapter including a control unit that controls the air conditioner using a learning model and a communication unit that communicates with a server device that generates the learning model on the basis of operation history data of the air conditioner. The adapter includes an acquisition unit, a determination unit, an erasing unit, and a transmission unit. The acquisition unit acquires the data every predetermined cycle from the air conditioner. The determination unit determines whether or not an amount of change between temporally continuous data of the data acquired by the acquisition unit is within a predetermined range. The erasing unit leaves at least one of the continuous data and deletes the other data in a case where the amount of change between the continuous data is within the predetermined range. The transmission unit transmits the data after being deleted to the server device.

Abstract: An air processing system is provided that is configured to monitor and control the quality and temperature of air within a building. The air processing system includes at least one temperature adjustment assembly (e.g., a heating/cooling system) used to heat or cool the air within the building and at least one dedicated outdoor air system ventilator used to circulate fresh air within the building wherein the air processing system is separate from the temperature adjustment assembly. The air processing system also includes an intelligent gateway formed as part of the ventilator and connected to the temperature adjustment assembly and the ventilator so as to monitor and control their operating conditions. The intelligent gateway may send the operating conditions and any sensor measurements to a cloud computing server that a user or technician can use to interface with the air processing system.
