    摘要: The present invention provides a pneumatic yoke for a pressurized gas reservoir. The yoke comprises an aperture for receiving a stem of the pressurized gas reservoir, the stem having a stem valve selectively operable to permit a flow of pressurized gas through an opening of the stem; a gas passage for alignment with the opening of the stem to accept the flow of pressurized gas; a gas diverting conduit in fluid communication with the gas passage; a movable clamping member within the gas diverting conduit, the movable clamping member having a surface forming a boundary of the conduit, the boundary displaceable by a flow of gas into the conduit to thereby vary the volume of the conduit to thereby engage the clamping member with the stem; and, a release valve in fluid communication with the gas diverting conduit, the release valve selectively operable to permit a flow of gas from the conduit to permit disengagement of the movable clamping member with the stem. The yoke may be used in a gas delivery system, particularly in home oxygen gas delivery systems.

    摘要: A carrying device for transporting a cylindrical tank is disclosed which is especially suited for being quickly attached and detached from oxygen and acetylene tanks. A circular collar having an inner diameter greater than the outer diameter of the cylindrical tanks is provided. Three gripping teeth are disposed equidistantly from each other on the inner face of the collar, two of the teeth being stationary and the third being movable from a first position in frictionally gripping engagement with the exterior of the tank around which the collar is placed to a second position not in frictionally gripping engagement therewith. The third gripping tooth is reciprocated between the first and second position by means of a pivotal handle mounted adjacent a projection on the movable tooth, the pivoting of the handle abutting the projection on the tooth to move it forward. The handle itself is a pistol grip handle having an elongated opening through which the fingers of the hand may be placed and a hook receiving, circular opening through which the handle may be attached to a crane.

    摘要: Two caps are axially nested so that a smaller inner threaded cap is free to rotate within the outer larger protective cap and retained therein to form a security lock cap unit for gas supply tanks. It includes a locking means associated with the outer cap whereby the inner cap can be selectively engaged by the locking means to prevent its relative rotation, allowing the inner cap to be screwed on to a gas supply tank by rotating the outer protective cap and thereafter the inner cap is released by the locking means and retained in a disengaged position to prevent removal of the locking cap unit without a key to the locking means.
