Abstract:
A utility cart with the improvements including an adjustable height handle, a foot activated brake, an adjustable cart partition, and easy turning swivel front wheels to assist in guiding the cart. An inverted U-shaped telescoping handle, which curves outwardly from the backside of the cart is easily adjustable for desired height. A foot-activated brake mechanism is used to apply pressure to rather large, rubber tread wheels to prevent the cart from rolling when stopped on an inclined surface. An additional foot-activated lever is used to release the brake. Three embodiments of the utility cart are disclosed, these being (1) a rigid cart for general use, (2) a collapsible cart for storing, and (3) a low profile portable cart for fitting into the trunk of a car.
Abstract:
A case system and method includes a first case and a second case. The first case has wheels and an extendable handle having two handle shafts. The second case has two parallel grooves which receive the two handle shafts. The second case also has two latches which lock the two handle shafts in place within the two parallel grooves, so that the two case are secured together and may be wheeled about as a single unit. In a second embodiment of the invention, the first case has a top half and a bottom half, the top half being removable from the bottom half. When the bottom half is stacked on top of the top half, two cavities in the top half receive the two wheels of the bottom half so that the bottom half resides in a level orientation.
Abstract:
A combination work and recreation cart. The cart generally includes a frame having a handle, wheels, rungs and retainer tabs. Extension rails can be connected to the frame to create cot, lounger and hunting stand. The cart also includes a tray that can be used to store the cart's components and to be made into a table. The cart further includes a vehicle carry bar that allows the cart and its components to be attached to a typical vehicle trailer hitch.
Abstract:
A wheel structure is constructed to include a wheel bracket connectable to the bottom cuff of a golf bag, a wheel axle inserted through axle holes of the wheel bracket, two wheels, two connectors respectively mounted in the center axle holes of the wheels and capped on the ends of the wheel axle, and two clamps respectively mounted in spacer blocks in the connector to secure the ends of the wheel axle to the connectors.
Abstract:
An actuator for a golf bag has a handle and at least one wheel movable between first and second positions. The actuator comprises a frame, a first link engaged with the handle and engaged with the frame, and a second link. The second link is engaged with the at least one wheel, engaged with the frame, and engaged with the first link. The first and second links are movable to move the wheels between the first and second positions.
Abstract:
A reinforced and wheeled refuse container including a container body, having one or more handles secured proximately opposite upper edges, and a wheel structure secured to the bottom of the container housing, to facilitate maneuverability of the refuse container during usage. In its assembly, though, the container housing may incorporate integral boss-like structure that can inherently form threads, a bayonet lock, or any other type of fastening, so that fasteners may be readily secured thereto, for rigidly holding the handles and wheeled structures in place, to facilitate the quick and easy assembly of the refuse container, through a minimum of effort. The wheeled structure may incorporate integrally molded support for an axle, for holding the container wheels in place, during assembly and usage.
Abstract:
A foldable three-wheel baby carriage includes an operation device mounted on the horizontal section of each of the two push bars, a front shock-absorbing device mounted between the front wheel and the two front frames, two rear connecting devices each mounted between a respective one of the two rear wheels and a respective one of the two rear frames, and two rear shock-absorbing devices each mounted between a respective one of the two rear wheels and a respective one of the two rear frames. Thus, the foldable three-wheel baby carriage may provide shock-absorbing and braking functions, thereby protecting the baby. In addition, the connecting devices and the operation device of the foldable three-wheel baby carriage are arranged in hidden manner, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the foldable three-wheel baby carriage.
Abstract:
A manual golf cart with combination golf club head cleaner and bag holder that allows users to support a golf bag on a manual cart and selectively clean a golf club. The holder includes a golf bag support member attached to the central post member. The support member includes an integrally formed upper support plate and a lower resting plate. The two plates are aligned rearward and are spaced apart on the post member to form a rear extending golf club opening. Attached to the top and bottom surfaces of the bag support plate and the lower cleaning plate, respectively, are two sets of bristles. The bristles have sufficient rigidity and length to clean the top and bottom surfaces of a golf club head inserted into the golf club opening. In the preferred embodiment, the bottom surface of the lower resting plate includes optional teeth that grip the soil during use to hold the golf cart in place when a golf club is being cleaned. The lower resting plate may also include a central basin in which a small volume of water may be placed to enhance cleaning.
Abstract:
A sports equipment cart includes a first ball dispensing tube having upper and lower ends and defining a bore extending therebetween. The first ball dispensing tube defines an upper ball receiving aperture and a lower ball dispensing aperture. A pair of wheels are rotatably mounted to the first ball dispensing tube adjacent the lower end thereof. The first ball dispensing tube includes a handle for manually pulling the tube between desired locations. A second ball dispensing tube of substantially similar dimensions may be connected to the first ball dispensing tube in side-by-side relationship. A third ball dispensing tube of smaller dimension may also be connected to the first dispensing tube for holding smaller sized balls.
Abstract:
A child seat structure for attachment to a stroller frame includes a child seat having a seat cushion and a seat back support. The seat cushion has a front portion with at least one tab affixed thereto. The child seat structure also includes a passenger support base attachable to the stroller frame. The passenger support base has a trough and at least one opening through the trough. The passenger support base also has at least one projection thereon, such that the tab can pass through the opening and connect to the projection to secure the front portion of the seat cushion in the trough of the passenger support base.
