Abstract: Two-speed transmission apparatus for electric vehicle comprises a planetary gear mechanism 16, friction brake 28 and friction clutch 26 in coaxial arrangement between input axis 10 and output axis 12, first speed is obtained by fastening the friction brake 28 and one-on-one second speed is obtained by fastening friction clutch 26. The electric actuator 30 to switch first speed and second speed comprises electric motor 32, a torque-thrust converting mechanism 36 and pusher 34. The torque-thrust converting mechanism 36 comprises inside cylindrical screw 40 being rotated by control motor 32 and outside cylindrical nut 42 which is screwed with cylindrical screw 40 and is connected to pusher 34 so as to integrally axis-move. The control motor 32 may include an electromagnetic brake to fasten the friction brake 28 and the friction clutch 26. Thrust of the axial direction may be transmitted by the swing of an arm 316.

Abstract: A manual transmission comprising a first pivot member operatively connected to a first coupling unit on an output shaft and is selectively rotatable to drive the first coupling unit between first, neutral and second positions. A second pivot member is operatively connected to a second coupling unit on the output shaft and is selectively rotatable to drive the second coupling unit between first, neutral and second positions. A first shift rail is operatively connected to the first pivot member and is adapted to slide axially within a shift rail guide in response to rotation of the first pivot member and a second shift rail is operatively connected to the second pivot member and is adapted to slide axially within the shift rail guide in response to rotation of the second pivot member. The first and second shift rails each comprise a lock-out detent in facing relation to one another. A lock-out plunger is positioned within the shift rail guide between the first and second shift rails and is adapted to move between a first and a second locking position only when the first and second coupling units are in the neutral position. In the first locking position, the plunger lockingly engages the lock-out detent in the first shift rail to restrict axial movement of the first shift rail without impeding axial movement of the second shift rail. In the second locking position, the plunger lockingly engages the lock-out detent in the second shift rail to restrict axial movement of the second shift rail without impeding axial movement of the first shift rail.

Abstract: A gear transmission with overtop or overdrive for automotive vehicles includes an overdrive gear mechanism mounted immediately after the rear end wall of a transmission case. The overdrive gear mechanism includes a pair of overdrive gears, one located on the output shaft of the gear transmission and the other on the countershaft of the gear transmission, operable to rotate the output shaft at a higher rotational speed than the input shaft. An overdrive synchronizer assembly is mounted rearwardly of the overdrive gears such that the direction for actuating the overdrive synchronizer assembly coincides with the direction that a gear shift lever of the vehicle is shifted to obtain the overdrive position.

Abstract: A transmission includes an input shaft coupled to a prime mover, a countershaft, main shaft, and an output shaft, with gears between the countershaft and the main shaft. A shift actuator selectively couples the input shaft to the main shaft by rotatably coupling gears between the countershaft and the main shaft. The shift actuator is mounted on an exterior wall of a housing including the countershaft and the main shaft. An integrated actuator housing includes a single external power access for the shift actuator. A controller interprets a shaft displacement angle, determines if the transmission is in an imminent zero or zero torque region, and performs a transmission operation in response to the transmission in the imminent zero or zero torque region.

Abstract: An apparatus for axially adjusting a shifting element includes a shifting shaft, which can be rotated about an axis, an actuating body, which is connected to the shifting shaft for conjoint rotation and in an axially movable manner and which has at least two slotted guide sections designed as grooves on a peripheral surface, and a linear actuator, which is associated with the actuating body and has an actuatable actuator pin, which can engage in the slotted guide sections in order to axially move the actuating body. Each slotted guide section has an incoupling region for the actuator pin, an opposite outcoupling region for the actuator pin, and an adjusting region, which lies therebetween in the peripheral direction and is bent in a curved shape, for axially moving the actuating body. The incoupling region and the outcoupling region of the slotted guide sections that are adjacent in the peripheral direction are arranged at the same axial position.

Abstract: A vehicle transfer includes an input shaft, an output shaft, an output member, a clutch, a motor, a screw mechanism, a transmitting mechanism, a fork shaft, an amplifying link mechanism, a high-low switching mechanism, and a fork. The fork shaft is configured to move in an axial direction of the fork shaft. The amplifying link mechanism is connected to the nut member and the fork shaft. The amplifying link mechanism is configured to amplify an amount of movement of the nut member in the direction of the common axis and transmit the amplified amount of movement to the fork shaft. The fork is connected to the fork shaft. The fork is configured to transmit moving force of the fork shaft to the high-low switching mechanism such that the high-low switching mechanism switches between the high-speed gear and the low-speed gear.
