    摘要: In one example, a line of transmissions is provided comprising, a first transmission and a second transmission. Each transmission includes an input shaft with a first pair of gears arranged thereon and a first clutch positioned therebetween designed to selectively rotationally couple at least one of a first gear and a second gear of the first pair of gears to the input shaft. Each transmission includes a layshaft with a second pair of gears fixedly coupled thereto. Each transmission includes an output shaft with a third pair of gears arranged thereon and a second clutch positioned therebetween designed to selectively rotationally couple at least one of a third gear and a fourth gear in the third pair of gears to the output shaft. The first transmission has the second gear fixed to the input shaft. The second transmission has the fourth gear fixed to the output shaft.

    摘要: Torque is transmitted from an electric motor to an output unit through different gear trains depending on direction of rotation of the electric motor. The drive unit includes an electric motor, a first gear train, a second gear train, a third gear train, and a moving mechanism. The first gear train includes a first drive gear, a first driven gear, and a clutch member. The clutch member moves inside the first driven gear and receives torque transmitted from the first driven gear. The second gear train transmits to an output unit the torque transmitted from the first gear train. The third gear train transmits to the output unit the torque transmitted from the first gear train. The moving mechanism axially moves the clutch member toward the second drive gear when the electric motor is forwardly rotated and toward the third drive gear when the electric motor is reversely rotated.

    摘要: A three-speed gearbox assembly for an electric drive vehicle includes four planetary gear sets connected to an electric motor output. A first clutch is configured to selectively couple the motor output to the first planetary gear set. A second clutch is configured to selectively ground a first portion of the first planetary gear set and a portion of the second planetary gear set to a housing. A selectable one-way clutch (SOWC) is configured to selectively ground a second portion of the first planetary gear set. The gearbox assembly is selectively switchable between (i) a first gear where the SOWC is engaged and the first and second clutches are disengaged, (ii) a second gear where the second clutch is engaged and the first clutch and the SOWC are disengaged, and (iii) a third gear where the first clutch is engaged and the second clutch and the SOWC are disengaged.

    摘要: A saddle-type vehicle includes a power unit including a multistage transmission having a plurality of gear positions, a transmission actuating mechanism for changing the gear positions, a shift spindle as an input shaft of the transmission actuating mechanism, a crankcase housing therein the multistage transmission and the transmission actuating mechanism, and a crankcase cover covering a side portion of the crankcase. The shift spindle is disposed in the periphery of the crankcase cover and is coupled to a shift actuator mounted on the crankcase cover by a joint rod. Such saddle-type vehicle having a power unit with a shift spindle movable by a shift actuator, in which the shift spindle and the shift actuator are combined with each other in a small-size layout with a joint rod joining the shift spindle and the shift actuator to each other, allows the joint rod to be installed in position with ease.
