摘要: The present invention provides a method for producing a lamination-shaped fired body. This production method includes a shaping step (S10) of shaping a lamination-shaped article by using a lamination shaping powder that contains non-hydrating reaction raw material particles, an impregnation step (S20) of impregnating the lamination-shaped article with a coupling liquid that contains a coupling agent, and a firing step (S30) of firing the lamination-shaped article so as to obtain a lamination-shaped fired body, implemented following the impregnation step.

摘要: A particulate composite ceramic material may include: particles of at least one first ultra-high-temperature ceramic “UHTC,” the outer surface of the particles being at least partially covered by a porous layer made of at least one second UHTC in amorphous form; and the particles defining a space therebetween; optionally, porous clusters of the at least one second ultra-high-temperature ceramic in amorphous form, distributed in said space; a dense matrix and at least one third UHTC in crystallized form at least partially filling the space; optionally, a dense coating made of at least the third UHTC in crystallized form, covering the outer surface of the matrix, the matrix and the coating representing 5% to 90% by mass with respect to the total mass of the material. A part may include such a particulate ceramic composite material.

The method for producing a three-dimensional, ceramic component containing silicon carbide, by a) providing a powdery composition having a grain size (d50) between 3 microns and 500 microns and comprising at least 50 wt % of coke, b) providing a liquid binder, c) depositing a layer of the material provided in a) in a planar manner and locally depositing drops of the material provided in b) onto said layer and repeating step c), the local depositing of the drops in the subsequent repetitions of the step is adapted in accordance with the desired shape of the component to be produced, d) at least partially curing or drying the binder and obtaining a green body having the desired shape of the component, e) carbonising the green body, and f) siliconising the carbonised green body by infiltration with liquid silicon.

摘要: A fiber comprises a bulk material comprising one or more materials selected from the group consisting of carbon, silicon, boron, silicon carbide, and boron nitride; and a metal whose affinity for oxygen is greater than the affinity for oxygen of any of the one or more materials. The metal may be selected from the group consisting of beryllium, titanium, hafnium and zirconium. At least a first portion of the metal may be present in un-oxidized form at the entrance to and/or within grain boundaries within the fiber.A method of improving at least one of the strength, creep resistance, and toughness of a fiber comprises adding to a fiber, initially comprising a bulk material having a first affinity for oxygen, a metal that has a second affinity for oxygen higher than the first affinity. The metal may be selected from the group consisting of beryllium, titanium, hafnium and zirconium.

摘要: In one aspect, the disclosure relates to thermoelectric ceramic oxide compositions comprising a CaMnO3 ceramic. In a further aspect, the disclosed thermoelectric ceramic oxide compositions can dramatically increase the energy conversion efficiency of thermoelectric through a combination of modifying the chemistry of precursor materials, and simultaneously introducing a metal oxide liquid phase during sintering. In a further aspect, the present disclosure pertains to thermoelectric ceramic oxide compositions comprising a metal doped CaMnO3 having with a metal oxide grain boundary phase; wherein the metal is selected from group 13, group 14, group 15, group 16, or a rare earth element. In a still further aspect, the disclosure relates to methods for making the thermoelectric ceramic oxide materials. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present disclosure.

摘要: Polycrystalline diamond compacts (“PDCs”) include a polycrystalline diamond (“PCD”) table in which cobalt is alloyed with phosphorous to improve the thermal stability of the PCD table. For example, a PDC includes a substrate and a PCD table including an upper surface spaced from an interfacial surface that is bonded to the substrate. The PCD table includes a plurality of diamond grains defining a plurality of interstitial regions. The PCD table further includes an alloy comprising at least one Group VIII metal and phosphorous. The alloy is disposed in at least a portion of the plurality of interstitial regions.
