摘要: A trailer for transporting a granular material that includes a front section configured to couple to a truck. The trailer further includes a storage section configured to hold the granular material and a back section that includes a connector system. The connector system includes a reinforced component coupled to a chassis of the trailer, where the reinforced component increases the rigidity of the chassis. The reinforced component includes a steel plate and a box structure that includes rearward metal beams coupled to the chassis and extending in a rearward direction and a metal beam coupled between the rearward metal beams and coupled to the steel plate to extend a tow hook from the chassis. The connector system also includes a tow hook coupled to the reinforced component, where the first tow hook is configured to couple to a second trailer.

摘要: A materials handling vehicle comprising a path validation tool and a drive unit, steering unit, localization module, and navigation module that cooperate to navigate the vehicle along a warehouse travel path. The tool comprises warehouse layout data, a proposed travel path, vehicle kinematics, and a dynamic vehicle boundary that approximates the vehicle physical periphery. The tool executes path validation logic to determine vehicle pose along the proposed travel path, update the dynamic vehicle boundary to account for changes in vehicle speed and steering angle, determine whether the dynamic vehicle boundary is likely to intersect obstacles represented in the layout data based on the determined vehicle pose at candidate positions along the proposed travel path, determine a degree of potential impingement at the candidate positions by referring to the dynamic vehicle boundary and obstacle data, and modify the proposed travel path to mitigate the degree of potential impingement.

A material vehicle (10) comprises a vehicle body (101), an unlocking assembly (102), a plurality of front universal wheels (103) and a plurality of rear universal wheels (104), wherein the plurality of front universal wheels (103) and the plurality of rear universal wheels (104) are all in a locked state; the vehicle body (101) is used for placing a target article; the unlocking assembly (102) is used for releasing the plurality of front universal wheels (103) from the locked state when same are in a horizontal rotation direction, and controlling the material vehicle (10) to travel in a first direction by means of the plurality of front universal wheels (103); and the unlocking assembly (102) is further used for releasing the plurality of rear universal wheels (104) from the locked state when same are in the horizontal rotation direction, and controlling the material vehicle (10) to travel in a second direction by means of the plurality of rear universal wheels (104), the first direction and the second direction being opposite to each other. By means of the unlocking assembly, the plurality of front universal wheels or the plurality of rear universal wheels can be released from the locked state thereof, such that the material vehicle can change the positions of driving wheels, and bidirectional traveling can be realized without needing to turn the material vehicle around.

摘要: Improved third, tag, axle for a standard two-axle log-carrying trailer to permit carrying additional load. The inventive third axle assembly is pivotally linked directly to the bunk of a standard log trailer bogie by two, laterally-spaced hitch assemblies that permit vertical motion of the third axle, but not lateral movement. The inventive third axle assembly increases the payload capacity of the trailer with better maneuverability. A pivoting cone support and centering assembly is used to insure proper alignment of the tag axle during transport and when first unloaded. By following the bunk, the inventive axle more closely follows the tractor front wheel path during turns, rather than worsening the cut-across effect of ordinary turn geometry. That is, the inventive tag axle tracks more nearly in the proper lane, tending significantly less to cut across inside the tractor turn in both left and right turns, and thus is a safer rig.
