    Abstract: A gate assembly comprising of a track comprising a vertical portion and two angular portions on opposing sides of the hopper. A pair of rectangular gates each comprising a longitudinal edge and opposing lateral edges slidingly engaged on the track allows the gates to move between a lowered, closed position and a raised, open position. A hinge combines the longitudinal edge of each of the pair of rectangular gates and allows them to pivot toward and away from each other during closing and opening, respectively.

    Abstract: A device conveying a solid material into a radially-arranged stockpile. The device has a trailer chassis, with at least one wheeled axle at a first end thereof and, at a second end thereof, means provided for attaching the chassis to a tractor in a mobile condition and for fixed mounting in an operational condition. A stacking conveyor is mounted near the first end of the chassis. A power unit for generating electrical and hydraulic power is positioned on the chassis. A feed system is mounted to the chassis and extends generally along the length thereof from the second end to the first end, to receive the solid material at the second end and transport the solid material to the stacking conveyor.

    Abstract: A trailer assembly has a frame, wheels attached to and bearing the frame and a hopper mounted on the frame. A front conveyor belt is mounted in a front part of the hopper and is operable to rearwardly convey contents of the hopper overlying the belt. A rear conveyor belt is mounted in a rear part of the hopper and is operable in a first mode to rearwardly convey contents of the hopper overlying the rear belt and is operable in a second mode to forwardly convey contents of the hopper overlying the second conveyor belt. Depending on the direction of conveyance of the rear conveyor belt, the two conveyor belts can be operated either to convey contents for dumping through a rear gate or to convey contents for dumping through a bottom gate.

    Abstract: A dry bulk tank and a method of carrying a load and discharging a load therefrom. The dry bulk tank includes a tank assembly having a first wall that bounds and defines a first compartment for carrying a load therein and a second wall spaced outwardly from at least a portion of the first wall; wherein a second compartment is defined between the first wall and the second wall. The tank assembly includes an air piping system that is selectively actuated to place the first compartment and the second compartment under substantially similar or substantially equal air pressure. In one example the air piping system pumps air into the first compartment and the second compartment. In another example the air piping system evacuates air from the first and second compartments.

    Abstract: An apparatus and process for delivering proppant to a well site has a trailer with a bed thereon and at least one track of rollers extending in parallel relationship to the longitudinal axis of the trailer. The track of rollers extend substantially for an entire length of the bed of the trailer. At least one proppant container is translatably positioned on the track of rollers. The proppant container is movable along the array of rollers from one end of the bed to an opposite end of the bed. A bin can be removably positioned below the bed of the trailer in a position rearward of the front end of the trailer and forward of a rear end of the trailer so as to allow the proppant container to discharge into the bin. A conveyor is cooperative with the bin so as to move proppant from the bin to a location at the well site.

    Abstract: The systems can include any suitable component that allows them to move material (e.g., gravel and/or another bulk material), under at least a portion of a frame or other portion of a vehicle, and from one portion of the vehicle to another portion. In some cases, the systems include a chip spreader that includes a motorized vehicle and a material transfer device that is configured to move the material from a first end of the motorized vehicle to a second end of the motorized vehicle. In some cases, the material transfer device is disposed below an axle, frame, drivetrain, radiator, and/or other component of an undercarriage of the motorized vehicle. In some cases, the material transfer device includes one or more conveyors, augers, vibrators, gravity slides, and/or pneumatic systems that are configured to move the material.

    Abstract: A bulk tank trailer including an interior storage compartment, at least one straight rear wheel axle supporting a plurality of ground-engaging wheels and a longitudinally aligned discharge pipe in operative communication with the interior storage compartment is disclosed. The entire discharge pipe may be positioned above a transverse plane of the at least one straight rear wheel axle. A method of discharging particulate materials is also disclosed. The method includes filling an interior storage compartment on a bulk tank trailer with the particulate materials, positioning a straight discharge pipe above a straight rear wheel axle on the bulk tank trailer, moving the particulate materials from the interior storage compartment along the straight discharge pipe and discharging the particulate materials from the discharge pipe.
